My husband and I hired this company to perform a number of work items at our property. The company performed dangerous and substandard work, including: cutting the floor joists of our home and not properly reinforcing them, not attaching the posts of the deck into the concrete footers meant to support them, not building the deck pickets up to code(note that our *********************************************************** the pickets completely) and many other code violations. In addition, they caused outright damage to our home and did not complete the scope of work. They drilled 3 screws our brand new roof (installed in Feb 203) and did not complete any of the items agreed upon. They also charged us over $5,000 in material costs when their initial estimate only accounted for $2650 in material costs and did not provide any explanation or request pre approval on this. We are seeking reimbursement for the cost of repairing the damage to our home, bringing their substandard work up to code, completing the original scope of work, and the drastic overage in material costs. We can provide all photos and have written evaluations from third parties that have come to inspect this company's dangerous and substandard work.

On 11/22 company was hired to complete renovation project and discussed all details with employee ********************* We discussed that payment was to be broken up into 4 payments equaling 25% of the project total cost and the final 25% is due when project is complete and we are satisfied. Nearing the end of the project **** demanded final payment before project was completely finished. We still had a shower door to install that was being delivered the following week. They also needed to locate the correct hinges for cabinet and other work that was done still needed a large amount of touch **** **** did not even ask if we were satisfied and never completed a walk through of the home to view the work that was done. We then sent **** a few pictures of the the work that still needed to be fixed and stated that it would be get fixed but still demanded payment before project was complete. **** also never scheduled a day that worked for us to complete the issues we sent. When **** still demanded payment, I stated that I would like to consider other options to complete projects. The following day **** sent his employee over to the house without scheduling a day or time with us. I told the employee that we are still discussing issues with **** and I also did not want to complete work while my toddler was home sick. I requested that we ************** *** on that following Monday which was still within the timeframe we discussed to complete the project. I also requested a walk though once again to discuss issues with the work. **** never completed walk through. **** decided to close out our project and sent an invoice and stated he needs his payment and will not complete work.
