    On January 17, 2025 I was solicited to join Tidal Wave Auto Spa located at ****************************************************** at introductory cost of $17 with understanding that I would be charged $29.97 per month thereafter unless I cancel the service prior to start date which was 2/17/2025. I was given a receipt which showed company info my auto identifier #***, initial charge and service rendered, policy and procedure for canceling service, subsequent cost. On 2/15/2025 the date of my last car wash I attempted to cancel at the location informed that they couldnt do it there even though the receipt clearly states that either myself or Tidal wave can cancel anytime by notifying other party which is not accurate. I then called the number listed at bottom of placard and receipt and was placed in que to be answered, after approx 8 minutes no one answered I hung up. On 2/16/20 I again called and no one picked up. I was later informed that the office is not open on Sunday which nowhere on the receipt does it list that it is not open on Sunday. The receipt doesnt list hours of operation. On 2/17/2025 after extended wait I was finally able to speak with customer services and was informed that my card had already been charged. I protested and emphatically stated that I wanted a refund and to cancel the service. I was denied the refund and found that they had not canceled the agreement as stated. On 3/7/2025 I contacted customer service whom stated that the service was still intact, I again canceled and was informed that it was now canceled even though I had not been back to utilize the service because I did not want it I am paying for something I do not want and had followed their quidelines.Find attached copy of the receipt, placard and chronology of my telephone calls to Tidal Wave office as listed on receipt and placard. I was informed that I would not receive a refund even though I have not used the service. I am 73 years old, this is elderly abuse and a violation of consumer law.

    This business is a SCAMMER. They signed me up for club membership although I was told I have a month free trial, then I have the choice to sign up. After doing the first wash and two more, I decided I did not like the service. To me, there was nothing to do as I did not authorize or sign up for the service.April 2nd at 7:45am I found out I was charged $23.97! At 8:00am I called their number. I explained that I did not sign up for the service and I want it canceled and refunded. The clerk took my email to send confirmation of the cancellation and refund. Evening that day, I received an SMS asking to say YES to confirm membership and receive text offers! I wrote No. Then wrote stop. New SMS stated I opted out of receiving msg. It did not say anything about membership cancellation! Two days later, no emails. I called my bank and disputed the charge, then I called the same number. A very rude woman did not let me explain or asked to confirm who I was, unlike first clerk! She forcefully and rudely told me the first clerk has in her notes that she will cancel the service going forward, but there is nothing about a refund she hung up on me. They forcefully robbed me of $23.97. I want the charge refunded. I want confirmation no future charges. BBB needs to investigate these grab-and-run scammers.

    The car wash tore off my bumper and the lady I spoke with in customer service told me she wasnt giving me her name she got smart with me and refused to help
