    ******'s written bid included cutting down several quite large trees & 2 tall-ish but not large in diameter gumball trees on our property. We paid him exactly what we had agreed to as stated on his invoice. It was dark when his crew left our property on Dec. 28, 2022. We didn't know til the next day that:1) He had not cut down the 2 gumball trees.2) WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION, he had cut down to the ground several 8-foot tall ornate bushes that we had been growing for 10 years.3) WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION, he had pulled up our 20-year old rose **** by the roots & tossed it off to the side. This rose **** had sentimental value to our family. I didn't find it til several days after ****** left our ************* was too late to save it.When ****** 1st came to our home to give us a quote, I told him that I am an avid gardener & care about every plant on our property. I told him he needed to tell his crew to be careful & respect our gardens. He agreed to do that.Since Dec. 28, I have phoned & texted ****** many times. I emailed him 18 times detailing all of the above issues. On Jan. 5, he replied to 1 text saying he would come back & cut down the 2 gumball trees. Today is Feb. 23 & he hasn't been back. He hasn't responded at all to my complaints about the damage he did to our plants. No apology or offer to replace them.So, if you don't mind paying big bucks for a tree service company to cut down your favorite plants without your permission & not bother to tell you, never reply to your many attempts to contact them, & only do part of the job they promised to do, Armstrong Tree Service will gladly do that for you.
