    Car was brought in to have rack and pinion replaced. Car was brought back in because of a leak. The leak coming from the same area. Business claims that car has more problems than it initially was brought in for because car is 25 years old. Business not willing to give refund even though **** and pinion were not fixed correctly and they were given a second opportunity to fix problem.

    The car came in for a power steering leak.. note the pump was wining and was out of power steering fluid. Upon further inspection the rack was leaking from were steering shaft goes in rack. Car was repaired with new rack. A few weeks later they brung it back with pump out of fluid and pump wining. We diagnosed it with the pump pushing fluid back out the top and pressure switch leaking. We tried to save the pump for the customer. But it had just been run low to much. The power steering is a sealed system. So if there is a weak spot it will find it. Thats why the switch is leaking. Did advise the customer. You can only fix what you see at the time. The rack was leaking it was repaired. Special order because its a *****. I told her I would be happy repair any workmanship that was not good.
