    My story is like all the other complaints about ***********. Back in 2023 my computer locked up and the message said to call a number. I called the number and was told that my computer had been hacked and that their company could fix it but it would cost me $229.00 and included coverage for 1yr. I agreed to let them fix the problem and I mailed a check to the company for the $229.00. I received a call to confirm that the check could be cashed and I said yes. I told them to cancel the service. They then told me I would have to pay $2500.00 to cancel. I said I did not have $2500.00. She said she would help me out and lowered the amount to $1900.00. I told her I could not pay $1900.00 either. She said I could give her another postdated check for the $1900.00 to hold for two weeks. I said, no that I didn't have $1900.00 and I would not have it in two weeks. Every time I asked if this was a scam they told me no it wasn't.She told me to make check out to (WebKart LLC), gave me her name and the address of the company (******************************) and told me if anyone else called me about this not to talk to them. She told me to give her a check number. I gave her a check number and we ended the call. I mailed the check and after a week I put a stop payment on my check. I received a call from who claimed to be the business (WebKart) owner saying that if I didn't pay the $1900.00 to cancel my service I would be charged $9000.00p/m for 27yrs. I told them to cancel the service and I will not be paying $1900.00. They then dropped to $1000.00. So between March 15, 2025 and March 20, 2025 they will be pulling $1000 from my checking account which I can't even afford. Ever time they call they keep asking for more money to cancel. After all this I had to replace my hard drive on my computer. I also had to stop paying my monthly bills in order to afford the $1600.00 that I paid them on 2/6/2025. I had also called my bank and they told me to end any communication with them.

    On May 1st 2024 my computer locked up and the message said to call a number. I called the number and was told that my computer had been hacked and that their company could fix it but it would cost me $229.00 and included coverage for 1yr. I asked if this was the only charge for the service and was told yes. On the 15th of May I received a call to confirm that the check could be cashed and I said yes. On Sept 26 2024 I received a call from *** for (WebKart LLC) saying "that if I didn't cancel the service I would be charged $9000.00 p/m for 27yrs". I told her to cancel the service. She then told me I would have to pay $2500.00 to cancel. I said I did not have $2500.00. She said she would help me out and lowered the amount to $1900.00. I told her I could not pay $1900.00 either. She then ***eated that if I didn't cancel the service I would have to pay the $9000.00p/m. She said I could give her another postdated check for the $1900.00 to hold for two weeks. I said, no that I didn't have $1900.00 and I would not have it in two weeks. She suggested I get a loan. I told her I was not getting a loan and that this was a scam. She told me to make check out to (WebKart LLC), gave me her name and the address of the company (******************************) and told me if anyone else called me about this not to talk to them. She told me to give her a check number. I gave her a check number and we ended the call. I never mailed a check out and I didn't hear anything back from her. Today I received a call from a man who claimed to be the business (WebKart) owner saying that if I didn't pay the $1900.00 to cancel my service I would be charged $9000.00p/m for 27yrs. I told him to cancel the service and I will not be paying $1900.00. He then dropped to $1000.00. I hung up.

    11/24/2024, computer locked up, message said to call ********* # ************. This is ********* c/s #. Obviously, the phone # was diverted to a company called WEBKART LLC, at P.O. *****************************, as they requested I mail a check for $299.00 to repair my computer, which was full of "kid porn" installed by a hacker, which I believe it was installed by them. They said: I have NO firewall and my I.P. address was *************, which it is NOT! They claimed to have "cleaned" it and removed all errors, spyware, malware, etc. They would call me MONDAY, ***** am, on a specific phone #, as I do not answer phone #'s that I do not know, to check on my satisfaction. I waited Monday, NO CALL, and my computer was down, not working. I called ***** case # ********* and THEY repaired my computer. It took two days and they replaced 5 drivers. I owe Webkart NOTHING. I should bill them for my down time. They are threatening me with legal action. They use at least 10+ phone #'s, I ignore and block each one.

    On October 3, 2024, our computer was locked up due to a hacking incident. The screen was frozen and we were instructed us to call a telephone number to resolve the issue. We were told to take the following two steps to fix it:1.Have the computer cleansed by Webkart, LLC. The fee for this was $399.99.2.Purchase a Lifetime firewall. The fee was $1,350.00. We were instructed to pay these amounts by ******** Bharti ID 1052 ************** by credit card or check within 24 hours. The communication with the Webkart agent led us to believe that Webkart was authorized to correct issues arising with ********* software applications to make it seem legitimate. This was not true.We were told that we would receive a detailed listing of what was to be covered. This was never provided.After hanging up and calling ************** (the company we purchased our new computer from only three months prior) we were told that what we experienced was a hacking scheme and we had been scammed. **** technical support told us that the applications placed on our Desktop by Webkart, LLC were actually non-functioning and they removed all four of them. **** technical support confirmed that our computer already contained virus software and a firewall - so there was no need for what Webkart, LLC was forcing us to purchase. **** technical support told us that Webkart, LLC just tried to trick us into believing our computer had been compromised and that it required their software applications to ********** took **** technical support less than 30 seconds to determine this was a scam and we had been tricked into thinking we needed our computer to be cleansed and protected with a firewall (which we already had). As a result, we did not pay the amounts noted above.Webkart, LLC agents call our cell phone ***** times a day, urging us to send the payment to them or they will assign the case to their collections department. We have not responded to any of their calls.

    This problem has spanned 3 different named companies over 5 months. My husband had a couple of strokes in April. In May, somehow he made contact with Webyard who falsely claimed to repair his machine. And they also claim to have added a firewall to our modem. They gave my husband an address to send $1800 to pay for the repair and the firewall for a year. Note there was never an invoice or a bill produced to let me know what we were being charged for.I argued with the salesperson and convinced them we did not want the firewall. They agreed if I paid the $400 I didn't have to pay the other $1400. Still I could get no invoice about this transaction.Yesterday we received a call that we owe $1900 for the firewall and if we didn't cancel yesterday, they would charge us $9000 for lifetime use. Again I asked for a bill or invoice. Now the company has the name of ********. They have a PO box for sending the payment. When I find webmicro on the web, it is the exact same webpage that the now defunct webyard had back in May. They have an address for the business which is an apartment in a very run down complex. Today, my husband received a call saying we now owe $4500 for something. When I made the lady look she could see that I insisted it get cancelled she went back to saying we owed $1900. I asked to see anything we signed to agree to the $1900 or the lifetime of $9000. They don't have anything but say they have a recording of my husband agreeing to it. They will not allow us to hear the recording. Meaning we have to take their work this transaction was ever approved and that we were ever advised about a $9000 lifetime charge. I am still begging for an invoice. But I don't know how they can be charging me for this if they are unwilling to prove we agreed to it. No one in the IT security department of a very large business has ever heard of any of the three companies we dealt with. There is another complaint against this company exactly the same

    I have a complaint about WEBKART LLC. On Jan 23, 2024, my computer locked up. I called the number it gave me for Micro soft. Well they answered, told them what was wrong with the computer.They said they could fix it. Believing I was talking to Micro soft I told them to go ahead. Got it all fixed and they said it was $500. Naturally I was flabbergasted, I thought Micro soft didn't charge. I told them I didn't have $500 to pay them. If I couldn't pay them, they would put my computer back the way it was, then gave me a price of $299. For one time fixation + 1 year security. I sent them the check and two weeks later she called to say it cleared. I thought all was fine. Today, I get a call from *************************** manager of WEBKART LLC. Wanting to know if I wanted to cancel using their service. If not, it was going to cost me $9000 for 27 years. I told her to cancel it. Then she told me that she couldn't until I paid my unsettled bill of $2000. I was never told about this charge. I thought I had been talking to Micro soft. Then she proceeds to lower it to $1100, to which I explained to her that I didn't have that kind of money. Again, I tried to explain it to her and again she persisted on the money. Finally, I lost my patience. Told her I was not going to send her a check for $1100 post dated to the middle of June. I told her I didn't have the money, not even then.She came back and ask me to send $500. I again told her that I didn't have the money. By this time I'm in tears. She comes back tells me they won't cancel me for the existing bill, plus the 9000. Says have a nice day can longer help you. Hangs up!
