  On 11/29/23 I was on my desktop when suddenly 3 or 4 windows pop up with a streaming talking message saying my computer has been hacked and do not shut it down. There was a phone number made to look like Microsoft so I called it and was told that my IP address was hacked and everything on my computer had been compromised. Spoke with a man named R. who turned me over to GW, a supposed web security expert who said he could correct the issue for $299. He requested access to my computer which I gave thinking nothing out of the ordinary. He asked me if I lived with anyone, husband, sons, daughters and also asked my age. At this point I was feeling VERY uncomfortable about allowing access to my computer for a problem which I BELIEVE THEY CAUSED. He told me I had no firewall security any more and that for $3,300 I could purchase their Lifetime Platinum Firewall with support. (NSA 3600 Sonic Firewall) I told him there was NO WAY I could afford or was paying that! Next thing I know he is in my bank account setting up bill pay! He entered merchant Ultimate Store with a PO Box in St. Petersburg, FL He entered the amount and a pay date of Dec. 6th and said they would call me the following day between 10 and 12 and not to tell anyone about this. I called my bank the next morning and cancelled bill pay. I told them I would NOT be paying anything and this woman said they had already done the work and expected payment. It would now be $300 with a $700 cancellation fee and when could they expect a check. They threatened with their legal dept. and asked what the check number would be. Said there would be no check and hung up. They emailed me an invoice for $1,000! The following day I was harassed by phone calls which I did not answer. These people need to be stopped and I just want to warn others about them. I would also appreciate an apology from them for trying to scam a senior citizen and for them to cease and desist with any more contact in any form. Would give ZERO Stars

  I would give a MINUS rating if I could. They are scammers. NEVER use them, NEVER pay them. If your computer is locked up and screaming with a fake Microsoft alert and call immediately, do NOT call them. Take your computer to a reliable place to remove viruses.
