I contracted impact windows from this company in August 9, 2023 to be installed within 4 weeks, after many calls without been respond, finally they installed on June 4, 2024. Of course, permits were expired, I asked them for my documents as: current licenses & permits to reaply HOA and no documents were submitted to me, just the seal inspection package is waiting. The installation day, they rudely demanded the payment or immediately will file a lien on my home. The installation guys called their office and both intimidated me and forced me to sign all papers because the job was done. Unfortunate, I was alone in home and I'm 80 years old I don't like any problem, therefore I paid off the full amount on June 5th.On June 7th, I called the office to let them know that my grandson 2.5 years old got a piece of glass in his foot, because they don't clean the patio and today June 12 the installers stoped by to vacum and took samples, I asked them to look the 2 high dirty windows and the installer said to me: "call a window cleaning company"I'll make sure that Window ********* never step in ********************.pedro a.

1 starI had Window World install a Sliding Glass door in my bedroom that has leaked since installation. After consulting with the Window Manufacture it was discovered that the door was installed incorrectly from the beginning. Window Worlds response has been to reinstall and re-caulk the door over 6 times I continue to have the same problem. After further research I discovered that the door I received is 1 inch shorter than the standard and the door should have been recessed for proper drainage. Window World advised me to file an insurance claim against my home insurance for an improper installation and incorrect door that they measured, ordered, cut the opening, and installed. A door that is supposed to have a lifetime warranty. I even sent a video recorded while the manufacture was here witnessing water running into the home from water being sprayed on the door glass only. Their response was "it passed inspection". I pointed out that the inspection is for alignment to code but does not ensure the installation is according to product design. Getting a response is downright horrible. The quality of the product is great if you can ever get it and then get it installed correctly. I do not recommend this company for its customer service, quality of work and ethics of standing behind its warranty.Review fromDeby G

1 starHad Window World in Savannah Georgia for our brick ranch home. we bought our home here in Port Saint Lucie Florida and needed new windows on our home. so we called Window World in West Palm. they came out and ordered our Hurricane windows and Doors. 6 weeks later in June 2022 the came out to do the work. This is where the nightmare starts. Window World put the windows in the house along with the new patio door. I am home. asking them repeatedly how does the window openings look? Their response is everything looks good. But everything was not good . we had new stucco put on our home in December of 2022. New wood, wrapping, wire mesh brand new. the Contractors who were hired to do the stucco found some very serious issues with the living room window and the back Padio door. The living room window was placed on rotted wood seal. the wood was gone in several places, And the screws that they used to install the window into the opening were not even onto the house. so all those times that we opened the window for any reason it could have seriously hurt us or someone else. now for the patio door. it was installed the same way. it was in the opening where it belonged but the screws were not into the house framing at all. they were between the house and the trim boards window world had put up. mind you the Living room window was about 200 hundred lbs. we were told the sliding glass door was 500 lbs. we went in and out that door about 4 times per day. it could have fallen out and killed us or some visiting. if I could post pictures here in this review I would. My husband and myself called Window world and told them what we found and that it needed to be fixed before we could close up the house with the new stucco. We were told they could not come out for 3 weeks. Because, they would not help us I wrote 2 Letters to corporate about everything that happened along with pictures of the work and got no response from them.Review fromWilliam M

1 starMy experience is similar to the others here. My wife and I placed our in October of last year and told our doors and windows would be in by February 2022. After repeated calls and detailed messages that went unanswered, I called the corporate office. The installation was eventually done August 16th. The city inspector was on-site several times during the day and found the windows didn't have the required wrapping. They had to be removed and reinstalled. By 7pm they were finally finishing up. The hardware for the front door wasn't installed. One of crew's mother passed that afternoon and they had a 3 hour drive back to Fort Lauderdale. I said I would install the hardware so they could get on the road. FYI-The 2 doors were not the ones we ordered. Well, latch and deadbolt didn't line up with the frame holes...so out come the drill and wood chisel so I got it to close and lock. Long story short, Window World called and wanted a final inspection and final payment. I refused to until the all issues (there are more than I stated here) were resolved. On August 22nd they sent Larry to 'assess the situation' which he did, and verified with photos and a descriptive hard copy. And I placed another call to corporate. Nothing has happened since.Review fromSteven P

In October of 2021, my wife and I ordered a double sliding glass door and 2 bathroom windows, all hurricane proof, from Window World. We gave 1/2 the deposit of $4,000. There were promises of having the products by February of 2022. We never heard from anyone, so in January we started calling and calling and calling. At times we would get someone on the phone and that person would take a message, but no one called back. We were able to speak to several people who listened to our story and took down lengthy messages. No calls or answers to where we stood on getting the windows. Long story short, we finally got the windows installed on July 6, 2022. But, they brought the wrong size screens and as of today, September 27, 2022, no screens and no inspection from the county and the install is incomplete because we need the county to pass the inspection so that the molding can be put in and the job completed. All the labels are still on the windows, as we are not allowed to remove them till the inspection. The labels are all outside and curling up due to the wet weather. We are coming up to October 2022, and this makes 1 year dealing with a company where no one calls or does the job. We are at our wits end. We are ready to call a lawyer as we don't know what else to do.Window World Of West Palm Beach

If I could give 0 stars I would. Deposit made 1/2021, long story short, still not completed. Impossible to communicate with. They never answer the phone and never return emails. Missed appointments followed by lie after lie. Now I am forced to hire another company to finish the work.Window World Of West Palm Beach

Stop playing dumb. The install was completed in early July. (18 Months after deposit) The pictures were sent to me after having to constantly badger you to send them. I received the pictures September 24th, two and a half Months after install. ( The emailed pictures were only of the doors.) Inspection is scheduled for tomorrow, I hope to God it passes so I can be done with this absolute joke of a company. ps. I have NO pictures of the sliding doors so I'm not holding my breath.Review fromDavid F

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Thty took $12,100 of my money (deposit) 2 months now and they do not respond. I was told by the salesman that they handled everything include the HOA for approval. All the paperwork for the HOA was given to the sales person Nothing...I finally heard from then and they send me the package to turn into the HOA, but did not tell me to do that so I thought it was for my records. That was 3 weeks ago, now I find out that I have to do it. I asked them if the permit was notarized as I did not sign it, nor a notary in front of me. They forgot, so someone was to come down that could notarized and be here by 12 noon on a Saturday only to get a phone call it would be 2 o'clock. Over the course of 2 months I have called and called and called they do not call you back. The salesman lies thru his teeth, tells me he will do things and does not get back to me. I finally received the owners email...I emailed him what was happening and he did not even respond. Now that I am disputing my credit card they are now trying to do something? I am going to continue the dispute and most likely get an attorney and sue them.Window World Of West Palm Beach

1 starThey are a totally worthless organization. They don't complete jobs, fail inspections, Do not return calls, I would not trust them ever again. They installed two window, and failed inspection in St. Lucie County and won't return my calls to get them taken care of. The owner Brian ****** is a piece of work. Promises to call back and never does. Don't trust them with a 10 foot pole.
