  Contracted with Sun Coast Roofing in October 2024 after Hurricane ******. They used inferior insulation, not what I contracted for. When I complained all work stopped & workers laid down, some slept on neighbors property until an office manager showed up a few hours later. What choice did I have but to agree so work would resume. Sun Coast Roofing uses unskilled workers, had 6-8 men on my Manufactured Home Roof jumping up & down, putting 7 holes, ( 3 very large), through my ceiling. They said they had a worker who would do repairs. Took him 6 weeks as he spent more time unloading & loading supplies/tools, prepping areas, and outside smoking every ***** minutes. He did not sand any areas repaired, he had no respect for my home and left a mess I had to clean. Sun Coast stated they would replace the panel on shed roof that worker removed in error. They now refuse to repair. I am very unsatisfied with work done by Sun Coast Roofing and now they are threatening to put a lien on my property just 1 week after they "claim" , job is finished and I still owe money. I hope they do, as I will file suit against them in Small Claims Court. I believe consumers need to know about this company.

  Their quality in customer service is awful. My drip edge on my house looks like someone went down with a can opener. Because of their due diligence of not asking to have it removed prior to putting my new roof on. And now the refusing to fix or replace it..

  I Contracted Sun Coast Roofing Co. in April 2022 to replace our roof. I must say that I am very dissatisfied with the job they did. They finished the job on September 2022 and used poor materials because the roof has faded and looks old. A vent pipe in the roof is bent; the workers who installed new gutters in the front of the house because they damaged the old ones, left a whole between one of the gutters and the house, The driveway was cracked by the heavy equipment they utilized, a pipe was broken in the driveway and no matter how many times I have called them to have these damages fixed, they tell me the driveway is not their responsibility to fix. As for the other damages they promise me to have someone come to fix them. So far no one has showed up or even responded to my phone calls. The manager, Cesar Rodriguez, does not even answer my calls any more. For all these reasons I WILL NOT RECOMMEND SUN COAST ROOFING!

  I had gotten another estimate and found a $500 coupon for Sun Coast roofing in a value pack so I got a quote from them which was approx $1000 less with the coupon and hurricane Ian and Nicole were on their way and I had to replace my roof as it was 18 yrs old in order to get my home owners insurance renewed I had to replace. The sales person Jimmy ******* was a fast talker but did get the roof done just prior to the storms - he did mention that i may need additional plywood but throwing in 4 and when all was said and done they needed an additional 19 sheets which brought by cost from 15K to 17K! Jimmy ******* also reccomended "a government backed loan"called renewpace for funding if I needed which they are not associated with and upon contacting them I was approved but was not a government loan but a private financing co but I had no choice and they approved me, also I ran into some damage inside due to soft spots on the roof a worker's leg fell thru my ceiling which they did repair but was a mess and all cleaned up....after the storms I noticed some additional problems and tried to contact Sun Coast roofing as I was advised could be from the roofing. When I contacted the office and spoke with a Chris whom was very rude and not helpful at all. I have tried to address these problems with either no response or they are not responsible. After all is said and done I would think twice before using them or recommending them.

  I had them install a new roof and screen porch. took over a year to complete, Screen porch roof has leaked every since they left. They never came back to fix it. The roof had color problems their policy is pay them in full and then they will give you what you need to go back to the manufacture.
  I was told by a supervisor pay them *5000. for the roof and I would get everything I need to go forward with the shingle manufacture. I was lied too. Removed a couple of shingles that were damaged myself. I found only two to three nails holding the shingles in place. The code is six. They also got caught by the city officials installing my porch without a permit. Now they are trying to put a lien on my house. Had many other problems with them during this very long process. The only thing worst than their office staff is their poor workmanship and being lied to several times. DO NOT CALL THEM you will regret it. Wish I could leave O stars. Richard *****
