The Vitex company was used by our builder in order to install a Wireless Access Point on our Lanai during new construction.After closing on the home, we discovered that the Wireless Access Point was installed with a connector on 1 end, the other end in our ceiling is just the wire without any connector.I reached out to the Vitex rep and he told me that is the standard way to do an install and that they would be happy to sell us a ceiling router in order to complete the installation. None of this was communicated up front and it's hard to believe that is a standard installation when it is not completed. What appears to be happening is that they purposefully do not complete the installation in order to bring in new business by selling you a component and then adding the connector at that point.For those are aren't saavy enough to attach a connector for themselves, this could limit their options.I felt it was important that buyers are aware before they do business with this company.

Vitex scheduling and support reached out last week and they sent a technician out today to attach RJ45 connectors on each cat 6 endpoint for the **** Thank you for making this right.
