    My husband is a recently retired US Marine and I'll be retiring from the ************ in two months. My husband took a job offer in the location we wanted to settle after I retire. We had a quick timeline due to his start date for his new job. Our closing date was moved twice, one was due to the inability to obtain permits from the city and second was due to a discrepancy with wiring caught by the inspector. Builder was extremely adamant about closing as soon as possible. My husband did the walk through while I was on video, he along with the realtor identified many many issues. While a lot of them were cosmetic, like unfinished corners, chunked caulking, etc., we didn't expect plumbing to be a concern. Here we are, 5 months later, anytime the guest bathroom shower is being used, the downstairs half bath floods the entire downstairs. This has happened twice. In hindsight, we realize it was evident the builder was only looking to make a sale. Its completely unsatisfactory to have purchased our first home together after leaving the military for it to be in the state it is. We will never use this builder!!

    We closed and moved into our home on 4/19/2022. We purchased a townhouse in the River’s Edge Townhomes complex in Sanford, FL. This was our first home buying experience in over 23 years, and it was terrible. This builder changed the closing date 7 times, which cost us over $13,000 is short term rentals and storage because they couldn’t meet their deadlines mostly due to Seminole County violations. The day of closing we did a final walk through myself, my wife, and the builder. On walk through, we began to identify and document any issues with the property. We also were inspecting those issues reported by a contracted certified property inspector. All the issues not resolved were identified before closing and documented on a punch list to be taken care of after closing. This process thus far has been very stressful and disappointing. To this day, almost a year later, none of these issues have been resolved.

    April 14, 2021 I bought a townhome from BELLAVISTA BUILDING GROUP, INC. Purchase price $318,515.00. PROPERTY ADDRESS: *********************************************** I confirmed the purchase of this house, specially because of the Community Features listed on their propaganda to sell the house, you can check on****************************************** Pool, Spa, Multi-Purpose Grass Court, Playground, Walking Trails, Conservation Area, Gated. The Multi-Purpose Grass Court was never built., So, I cannot play with my family when I go there. This is a false advertisement, There is even not space for a Multi-Purpose Grass Court. Walking Trails across the (discussing lake full of dead fish) were never built, false Advertisement. Conservation Area, never built also. The youtube video launched to sell was this one : ************************************************** The community today cant even compare what was on this video. I wouldn't have paid a single dollar to that development that they FALSE Advertised & delivered and with missing community features. The property management company hired by the developers completely abandoned the community and they claim they don't get paid by the developers. Vendors subs as pool cleaners and landscapers are claiming they are not getting paid by the developers. I need them to finish the JOB or refund me.

    Be very cautious when using this contractor. They sold me an unfinished home back in April 2022. I say unfinished because in July 2022 they cut into my roof and removed the drain system so they can attach the house next door. They never informed me they were doing this and they did not seal off the area where they cut allowing the house to flood after some heavy rain. The home is used as an ****** and there were guests in the home when this happened. Bellavista sent out a company three days later to dry out the home but never communicated about repairs. The roof had been repaired about a week later and to avoid having to cancel any more reservations (Bellavista won't reimburse for loss of income) I had to get my contractor to perform repairs within the home. The soffit and drain still haven't been fixed. Other build defects to the home before the water loss have yet to be fixed.
