Project started 5/16/2023 and is still ongoing. Had to call the plumber/electrician out, several times and now, currently 1/9/2024 our dishwasher and garbage disposal are not working as the circuit breaker keeps tripping. Cabinets installed damaged, Ambry used a white paint stick to try to cover the damaged cabinets. Incorrect door handles were drilled for install but they were drilled for the incorrect size - Ambry had to order smaller handles but the correct larger ones came. Our choice was: have the holes filled in and drilled for the larger ones. Or Ambry could again order the smaller ones. We ended up with the smaller ones. BTW this installer showed up in a California Closet van. Shelf holes in the cabinets were not drilled so we couldn't put the shelves in. When they finally came back to fix it, the shelves were the wrong size. Some cabinets had a gloss ****** while some had a matt ****** on them. Floating shelves installed wrong. Kitchen pass thru wall was built up, this was not on the design, so they needed to take it back down. Now LVP flooring is starting to buckle in several places. Out of pocket expenses not expected: *Broken garbage can (expensive one)*Wall texture over sprayed on two oriental rugs *Doors were not taped and covered during the tile removal causing extreme dust into the other rooms and furniture. House to garage door had been left open on multiple occasions thus garage contents were covered in thick construction dust. Paid out of pocket for cleaning all of the heavy construction dust. *We stayed at a rental house for $100.00 per day for 40 days as this was considered the project completion time frame. $4,000.00 spent only to return home with a non functional kitchen. We also felt pressured to pay approx 33% as a down payment in order for work to start. We have photos and video to support the thus far poor and incomplete workmanship. Weeks have gone by with no communication/work Just want it done and done correctly!
