I contacted Leak Restore in October 2024 to come and assess a water intrusion issue in my condominium. I was not there at the time, my mother lives there and dealt with him. He did not quote a price on his services, but performed a preliminary examination and charged us $1388 for a forthcoming detailed written report on the findings and also assistance with getting the *** the information they needed to rectify the situation (water leak from an upstairs unit window). She paid the full amount with a check. His phone is ************ His name is *******, I never got his last name. I called him to discuss the findings and he explained them to me verbally and told me that his written report would be ready in about three days. I did not hear from him. I called multiple times the next week but could not leave voicemails because his voicemail is inoperative/full. I texted his cell number and he called back in a few days. He said he was very busy and still working on my report. Promised it in a few more days. Another 10 days and nothing. After more phone calls and messages he got back to me a third time. Again, we talked about the report and what the *** needed and he agreed to work on it and coordinate with my mother to get the problem solved. It's now been a month (16 Oct was his only time at the condo). His website does not list an address. I think his last name might be Straum. He might previously been operating as "American Restoration". The email on the website ************************** is inoperative.
