It is unfortunate that I had to result to this but this step is warranted as I have not had any luck with one of the owners, Danny ***** in providing me with a receipt of the service performed which was also incomplete. On 03/23/2023, the company, Brothers in Arms came out to my property to cut down and grind stump 26 trees costing $18,500. The work took longer than what I was quoted of 2.5 days which turned in to a week to include a couple of rainy days. Rainy days they didn't show, I had no problem with. The crew hired were great. It was my dealing with Danny ***** that problem arose. To date, he has not provided me with a receipt which I have requested in writing via text more than once. He would only text me asking to discuss over a phone call which I discouraged as I wanted things in writing. I asked for a receipt for work performed to include a statement that he would return at a later date to grind one stump they would not touch that was against a fence. He verbally stated to me that they would return and grind it down once I am ready to remove the fence. To include on the receipt is also an additional charge of $1000 for him take down and haul 3 old dilapidated sheds though I only asked for a referral of someone else he may know that could do this task. He took on this task and quoted me a fee of $1000. He has been paid with 2 checks ($18,500 & $1000) as agreed upon which he cashed in no time. All he had to do is provide me, his client, a receipt with stipulated statement as I have requested. Six months have passed and he has not fulfilled this request.
