  I hired C&R Tree Service LLC to grind and remove a tree stump and its roots, specifically stating multiple times that full removal was necessary for planting new grass. The team claimed the work was completed, and I paid in full, trusting their word. However, days later, I discovered that instead of grinding everything as agreed, they had simply covered the stump and roots with mulch and dirt. When I reached out to the ****** ****** (owner), he requested an additional $550 to grind below ground—something that was never mentioned as a separate service during the estimate or workday. This experience felt misleading, and the lack of transparency was disappointing. If you’re considering hiring them be sure to clarify exactly what is included beforehand.

  C&R Tree Service was professional from Rob giving me a quote to the crew doing the job. James & the crew could not have been nicer or more accommodating making sure I was totally happy with the results. They do excellent work & made sure everything was cleaned up. I am very picky & a perfectionist & would highly recommend using C&R Tree Service.

  *** and his team did an outstanding job with our tree removal project (over 10+ Tall Trees to cut down). They efficiently removed numerous trees, with two teams in just one day to prepare our property for a pole barn build. Months later, when the pole builders discovered a stump hadn't been ground down, they promptly returned to remove the root ball without hesitation. Their professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction are unmatched. I highly recommend Rob and his team for any tree removal needs. Give them a call—you won't be disappointed!

  We had two trees removed by C and R Tree Service and couldn’t be happier. The crew was professional, hardworking, and efficient, completing the job exactly as discussed. Their pricing was fair, and their communication was excellent. As a local business, they truly stand out for their reliability and quality work. Not only would we use them again—we will be using them again! Highly recommend!

  C&R Tree Service is one of the most unprofessional "Businesses'" I have ever dealt with. The worst part I did not even hire this clown Rob to do work at my house. He did work at my neighbors house. The crew was very respectful and specifically asked if they could access the adjacent property (my neighbor) through my driveway and yard. I politely declined because my driveway is new and the yard was soft from rain. The crew leader acknowledged the decline of access and went about his day. The next day when I arrived home from work and there were many ruts and yard damage to my property from the tree trucks cutting through my lot. I called Rob (owner) and explained the situation asking him to come out and fix my yard since his company damaged it after I said they could not use my property for access. He indicated he would be out the following day to review the damage and call me when he was on his way. Of course the next day come with no call and no show. I called several times and left messages / test message with no response. Then, like a coward, he blocked my number from his cell phone and has not made contact since. Now I am left with a damaged yard an no way to contact this coward of an owner. No accountability or ownership. Rob - you messed up, it happens, be a man and fix your mistakes. I don't anticipate a response but its worth a try.

  Hello, if you’re looking to have your trees trimmed or stumps removed, this is the company for you. I live in Middletown, DE, and Rob did all of my tree trimming and driveway spraying. I received many compliments on the excellent work he did. I highly recommend giving him a call; he’s reliable, reasonably priced, and professional. I usually don’t write reviews unless I’m warning someone of poor service, but his service deserves a mention. He even cleaned up after the work was done.

  These guys are great! Walked me through all my options. Didn’t push the quick removal. Very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile. Answered all my questions and were still about 20% less expensive than the 3 other bids I got. They made sure I was more than satisfied and thanked me for the work. Highly recommended! Terry C.   I called C&R Tree at 11:38 am. Rob, the owner, responded right away and said he could be out by afternoon. His crew came out, by noon, went straight to work and had the fallen piece of tree cleaned out in a few minutes. As a customer, I appreciated the fast responsive service, and the price was reasonable. C&R is a tree company that I will definitely recommend to my family, friends, and neighbors. I will be a customer of C&R from now on.
