    We had these installed back in 2014, so its been many years. They worked well for the first 5 years, but then we noticed water running out of the middle of the gutters, indicating the gutters were not filtering water properly. We needed to climb up on a ladder (their commercial advertises no more ladders, but this is not true) and inspect the gutters. We noticed that the screen was covered in mold/moss/dirt/grime and this is why the water was running over these areas that were most clogged. So instead of cleaning leaves out of gutters you have to clean the grime/film that accumulates over time from the elements. We needed to use Spray 409 and use a hose to power the grime out. This also impacted the gutters in the winter, we had huge icicles hanging from the most clogged areas. I have pictures of the grime as well as the icicles. I don't think there is anything the company can really do about this, it's not really a repair, but they should not advertise that these are totally maintenance free in their commercials, its simply not true.
