      Alarm contract expired on Jan 15. They won’t deactivate acct to allow me to connect with another company. Supervisor refuses to confirm EMEI # needed to activate on system radio. Directly said he would not give me info to swipe to another company. 15 digit EMEI was not placed on radio system. I feel they are holding me hostage to reactivate system with them

      I can attest to the fact that when the system fails they are not willing to fix and make multiple excuses. I have spoken with 11 different people about my system which has been off line for about a month and they don’t have a technician to come out for another month or 2 and I’ve only had the system for a total of 3 months. The representative in the cancellation department actually growled at me. Another mail representative got upset because I told him I wasn’t willing to pull the system myself and risk damaging any equipment for them to try and make me liable.

      Do not use this company. When their equipment fails, they try to charge you to repair and they insist you sign another 36 month agreement. This agreement has a 90% cancellation penalty. A total and complete scam! I am planning to call a lawyer as well. We need to put them out of business!

      The field reps are con artists and the customer service reps are incredibly rude. I signed up for this service in 2019 at my previous home. My payments were auto draft for two years and I never had any issues to the point of me having to contact the company until I decided to sell my house. Here is when I discovered I was being scammed. I tried numerous time to reach out this company to have my services terminated or transferred to my new residence. I tried all phone numbers provided as well as left messages on bogus answering services. I then googled this company on BBB and discovered there were others with the same complaints. I immediately stopped the auto drafts and a month later I received a call from a very rude rep inquiring about my missed payments. When I explained to her what I experienced she told me that I am under contract and I am still obligated to pay them every month. I asked to speak to a manager and she stated she was the manager. I told her how is it you guys can reach out to me for payments but aren't accessible when I needed assistance. I told her I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and will not pay the balance and her response was "and we will continue to send you letters and ruin your credit." This is the worst company I ever had to deal with and I strongly advise anyone to stay away from these reps. I am currently seeking legal advice as they should be held accountable for their wicked schemes.

      This company is sending us past due notices and claims we cannot cancel their services. We NEVER signed a contract with them; they claim we did. But they also refuse to send a copy of said contract. I'm ready to get a lawyer to send a cease-and-desist letter to these people... Gee, I wonder why they are not BBB accredited.

      I had service for 6 years, and my contract was falsely extended. I finally closed my account after months and months of trying. Now 2 years later, they continue to harass me via phone, text, and mail claiming I still have an account and that I owe them money. The person on the phone is nice, but this company is a total scam!!!! Would give negative stars if possible.

      We had service for approx 3-4 years. Both a home account and business account. My home wasn't working properly. Requested a service call only to be told I'd have to wait 30 days because they were short on technicians. Fine, i postponed a vacation and stayed home most of the time. Finally a service tech comes out but doesn't fix the panel. However he gives me his personal business card for his own security monitoring service and leaves. (This is bad business practice and a conflict of interest) So I call back to have someone else come out only to be told it'd be another 30 days. I could not stay home and certainly didn't trust them with my business. If that panel broke there I'd be waiting 60 days for service? So I cancel my contract as they asked me to do via email for both the home and business. They refuse to cancel them and are currently still charging every month for both locations. These accounts were opened at the same time. They have since changed the names on the accounts to make it seem like they completely different. They have told us they understand and have closed out the home account, when infact they have not. Everyone we talk to at SHS are nice and understanding at first then they begin berating me, they speak with such entitlement and with a condescending attitude. They call every couple months demanding payment and harassing us. They want us to uphold the contract but refuse us the same. This company is out of control I refuse to pay them a single dime more.

      My home was on the market, so I called and asked how I could either discontinue or transfer my service to my new home. I was told that yes, they could see the house was on the market, and to cancel it, I would need to provide them with a bill of sale. Since the house was taking a long time to sell, I continued to pay for the service even though no one lived there and I decided to rent the house. I also left all of the equipment at my house since they told me I could not bring it with me. Once the house sold, I contacted them to see how to send them the bill of sale so I could cancel my service. I had now moved into an apartment, and could not transfer this service to my new residence. I was then informed that providing a bill of sale would not cancel me from my contract. They even went back and listened to the audio recording, and yes, they confirmed that I WAS told by their sales associate that all I needed to do was submit my bill of sale of the house and my contract would be over. But, they would not honor this offer and said the sales person gave me "incorrect" information. They stated that I had to continue to pay my monthly fee of $59 a month, or pay a cancellation fee of over $3,000! The cancellation fee was for the "rental of the equipment", which I had now left in a different state because they told me I couldn't bring it! So, at this point, I have equipment in another state in a house I no longer own, paying for a service that no one is using, and I will do so for the next five years. As a "consolation", they offered to install new equipment at my new house, free of charge, and to transfer the monthly service over. But I have to re-start my 6 year contract all over again. It's been a few weeks since I signed that new contract, and no one has reached out to me about installing my equipment at my new house, and I am still paying for a service at a house I do not live in. Stay far, far away from this company.

      Horrible and fraudulent company that will trick you into a 5 year contract renewal with them. I thought I was signing for the system they installed at my house. They never specified that it was a WHOLE 5 YEAR CONTRACT!! Made it seem like it was a receipt so didn’t even bother reading the fine print because I had been using them for so many years and trusted them. Just for me to move out of state to an apartment complex and try to cancel and be told I have to keep paying monthly for 3 MORE YEARS without using or needing the service or have anyone to transfer it to. Really disgusted by this company and they deserve to be completely out of business. Hope their workers can find reputable companies to go work for instead.
