Hello again, *****.  I've been waiting for whichever platform you decided to share your experience on.  You were not ghosted.  I set a boundary after multiple text messages, many calls not leaving a voice mail from multiple phone numbers and multiple, slanderous and inflammatory emails. Again, we are sorry for the experiences in your life that have formed your outlook of people.  We have addressed your perspective multiple time and each time you changed what it would take to make you happy, so we walked away.  You are simply trying to coerce us into a discount you are not entitled to.

You are correct, as the owner of the company, I provided my portion of our services pro **** due to the nature of your single parent status, having been one for years myself.  Christians don't' advertise charity.  It is boastful and self-serving to do otherwise.  Our work is dangerous and laborious in nature and we deserve to have our payment fulfilled.  You hired us for 1/3 of the work for which we have not collected yet.  We communicated with your insurance company writing a professional letter on the front end, to encourage them to give you time to extend the due date of services and upon completion of the job letting them know exactly what work had been performed.  I don't know of any other tree removal service companies that will do that. That isn't the only service we provided for free.

I would encourage anyone reading this and who would like additional information to contact us directly at ************.  I would be happy to share contact information from our many satisfied and enthusiastic clients to anyone considering hiring us as the expert **************** we are.  We would be happy to give you a detailed background of our qualifications.  This is our FIRST negative review but was expected.

      Have a blessed day!

Hello.  Thank you for the way you have this system set up.  This person became very difficult to work with.  She was looking for a way to get free services once we began the work and became very challenging toward the end.  Nothing would make her happy.  She was trying to manipulate us from the start and became the way she is now when it didn't work.

Thank you for the ability to respond.  We appreciate it.  Please let us know if there is anything you need from us moving forward.

      Have a great day!

I am rejecting this response because:

Its clear from the companies response they are not addressing the issue and why we are in negotiations with the BBB.

I have 2 neighbors that  witnessed  the  company take a trailer load of wood Logs that we agreed to be left on property. Your company gave the wood to your brother in law for helping. I asked if he was going to sell it. You said that would be unethical. I realized it was wrong to take it and asked you for compensation for the wood or to return the wood.  I sent multiple communications asking the company to return wood prior to completion of the job.

The  companys quality of service and history is not in question.  I appreciate the work completed .

The Estimate clearly states WOOD to  be left on property
              a. Your company took wood   without consent
              b. Gave the wood to your brother in law for payment?  Or to sell the wood?
             c. NO discount was disclosed in the estimate by you . I did  ask for a discount either.
            e.  Company did not address the issue and  multiple times told me  to not contact them and pay my bill and threatened to send me to collections and charge me 10% if I dont pay even though we are in breach of contract.

      I have paid $3250.00
      I Owe $500
They need to please return my property (Wood).

*********** is not setting a boundary but ignoring the issue with threats .

*********** did not disclosure  a discount for in writing or explain they were doing me a favor because they are  Christian.
Christian people dont take wood without consent and give it to the their brother in law for payment or to sell.

I request not to be  threatened to increase my bill or be sent to collections without attempting to resolve the issues.  Once this is complete I am happy to pay my bill.

      Respectfully,

We have addressed this client's complaint multiple times on July 11th and July 12th.

She chose to leave the felled trees at the road to be taken to avoid having to PAY for removal and disposal fees.  This is very a very standard practice as it is very cost effective.  Every other client has been thankful for us to take some as it costs them nothing and neighbors take the rest. We donate to the financially disadvantaged, handicapped and elderly.  Our Brother-in-Law, who worked on her property that day, took some for his personal use. We made the mistake of assuming that it would be ok.  It was an innocent mistake, which she has chosen to crucify us for making.

First, she wanted an apology.  She received an apology.

That wasn't enough.  After the apology she had to call and rehash everything she had already covered via text.  During our phone conversation, she repeatedly stated she was not upset and did not want to wood returned the next day as we offered three times during our call.  I really don't know what the point of that call was.

Then, she decided she wanted a substantial credit, included in an email that also insulted our integrity and filled in the narrative with her story of choice. We found her emails to be calculated, baiting and inconsistent with our phone conversation. At that point we requested she only contact us for payment.

I blocked her from both of our phones and my personal email address due to the multiple phone calls from different phone numbers and the previous stated reasons but left access to the professional email address for payment reasons. Any exchanges I wanted to be in writing.

As I recall, July 26th was when the request for the wood be returned arrived.  This is what we offered originally.  This was 14 days after invoicing and 3 days before the late fee was incurred.

We are completely booked with work until October.  The window to accept the offer of returning the wood has closed.

      For this client we:

Gave a discount she doesn't want.  (I'm happy to add that 20% if she likes)

Wrote a request for an extension of her service deadline with her insurance company at no cost.

Took a half day unpaid to go **** the trees we planned to cut upon her request.

Our recommendation is for her to give the wood to her neighbors for free as she planned, now that she knows there is nothing to gain from us either financially or in the manner of offering more attention to this matter.

The whole purpose of our service was to help her take a step in meeting her insurance requirements by cutting trees on her property.  Not simply to take the trees from a vertical position on the property to a horizontal one and become permanent fixtures on the ground to remain fire fuels.

This is my final statement on the matter.  Some people, you just can't make happy.  This matter is closed to us.  This is the third time I have made the following statement:  We only wish to be contacted for payment, through the portal already provided to her.   No more phone calls, no more emails, no texts.  It doesn't matter to us if this remains unresolved through the Better Business Bureau.  We will not be responding to any further communication here either.  To us, this IS a successful resolution to this case.

Thank you, BBB for the service you provide.

      Sincerely,

      ***************************

      Complaint: 22057091

I am rejecting this response because:

The photo from July 12 th asked for the wood to be returned and to follow the estimate.  This company is ignoring communication and direct request to return the wood that was taken from the property without permission and violated the estimate contract that states it would be left on the property.

This seems simple and the business is not complying.
