      on 10/14/2024 I went to Midas in ******************. I needed fron brakes and rotors for my 2022 Dodge Ram 3500. They charged me $1,017.05 cents for service done. They came with a lifetime warranty. On 12/12/24 less than 60 days from the day that I had them installed the brakes went out again. I had to go to a midas dealership in ***************, the staff there in **** looked at my brakes and told me that they put the wrong brakes on my truck, this damaged my rotors, calipers and brakes. Wrong brakes meaning they put car brakes on my truck instead of truck brakes. This caused major damage to my truck.After contacting the offce in *******, Midas in **** said they would not honor the warranty from ********** and charged me an additional $3,805.00. This mistake put my life in danger. I had no choice but to stop in **** and see what was wrong with my truck. I am a truck driver and depend on my brakes highly.

      After visiting the Midas shop on Main street in Walnut Creek on May 15th 2024. My wheel lock was not returned to me. I had an oil change and tire inspection done for $51. The technician at the counter told me the wheel lock keep was replaced and was on top of the tire, In the trunk of the vehicle. When I went to search the vehicle for the wheel lock I could not find it. I returned to the store. Described the issue and the technician behind the counter said yeah, we have a lot of wheel locks, one of them might be yours The technician did make time for me, and tried a few of the wheel lock keys, but to no success. I was forced to take my car to the dealership and pay to have the wheel locks forcibly removed. This plus new wheel locks totaled $350. $250 for the labor and $100 for the new wheel locks. I do feel as though the Midas shop should pay for some portion of these costs. It was my mistake to have not checked for the wheel lock before I left the shop. But Midas should have just returned the lock to me and all of this could be avoided. In addition, I only worked with one technician while at the store, but his customer ********************** skills were lacking. Very gruff and short with me during the process.
