On 4/7/22, I walked into this establishment seeking advise from the employees as to what I could send to ****** as I have never shipped internationally before. The employees never once told me of any laws or restrictions, simply told me that packages get stolen and to not expect all my items to arrive. Misled by what I did not know was incorrect information, I assumed I could send anything I want to my family and decided to do so. I provided the employee with an address to ****** (*******************) to which he confirmed with me was the location the package would arrive. I paid $140.43 to ship it, but this does not include the $250 worth of items I was sending. I was given a tracking number of #1Z31E0R46867923933 and was told my box should arrive no later than two weeks time. This is where the nightmare began. When I decided to check in on the status of my package by calling the store, the employee would tell me it was on its way. I did not know this was a lie. After 2 weeks had passed and I had not heard from my family in ****** of them receiving it, I called the UPS store again for assistance to which they then told me my package was in ********, MX I was in disbelief! How did my package end up there? I immediately requested explanations from the employee to which he couldnt give me a straight answer, but instead told me they would file a ticket to the *** over there. Again I waited, as they had told me they would call me with updates to which they never did! I would call them multiple times over several weeks, asking for help and information as to where my package exactly was, until they finally decided to tell me it was lost and they couldnt do anything else for me. The employee had never mentioned insurance to me, and he stopped answering my calls! I finally went to the store and met **** Fort, retail consultant, who told me she would help me another lie! I have not been contacted with a resolution by this business.
