I joined active duty Army in 2019 and I was deployed to war zone in Arika to operation Enduring Freedom. During this deployment, my phone service was inactive and the wireless provider did not save my number like they supposed to on millitary hold. Now since I got back I had to change my phone number. This company disregards the fact I can prove my identity with my issued ID, instead they wanted me verify the phone number that no longer in service. This discriminates the protected group of people who serve in military and were forced to change the communication methods due to government mandated orders and service over seas. There has to be an alternative made especially when i can prove my identity with my id ?? the company liable for loss of business and should face legal trial for misleading identity of the person the phone number had been updated by FMCSA on the portal few weeks ago I spoke to Alex Coob, who said it company policy they will not very the identity until October 26 which is more than a month from now. Until then I can sign up with broker for load boards. This is outrageous

    Summary:

He submitted an authorization requests on 09/09/2024 and 09/17/2024 for the email ************@gmail.com. Last MCS-150 Submission Dates were 08/24/2024 and 08/30/2024, where there was an update to the company phone number (OLD: 5*********, NEW: 5205081697). Per our authorization policies, we have attempted to call to the old number ending 0387 to confirm the change itself before calling to the new to confirm the requesting user/email. We are unfortunately unable to reach the old ending 0387, and unable to proceed with authorization until it has been 60 days from the change: 10/23/2024. The carrier has called multiple times and was advised of this, though felt strongly that this was discrimination against his situation with his reason for recent updates.

The previous phone number was also the contact info within FMCSA for a company in Maryland SK Transport MC 581563 - and the phone number belongs to M******* ******** - he had the same number when the company was in Virginia. Back in March, the same person with the BBB Complaint incorporated another company Good Fortune Freight at the same address as BAKU freight in AZ.
