  Summer 2023, we hired Sivan Windows to do a pocket window installation instead of a full window installation to our old 1930s charming Spanish Revival home. The scope included removal of nineteen (19) single-pane wood windows and replace them with thirteen (13) double-pain vinyl windows; for clarification several windows were merged as one with no structural change. Our first impression of Sivan Windows was starting off pleasant with Max. The next step was taking rough measurements and finalizing the type, color, and direction of opening with Sivan Staff including ******* ****** and ****, also pleased. However, at commencement, ****** did a poor job supervising his two helpers. At demolition they carelessly banged hammered jammed off our old wood windows at times damaging the existing framing. Then during installation the crew continued to apply inadequate amounts of spray foam as we noticed there was still penetrating light from the outside. Next, even after providing them with a drawing plan they installed two windows in the wrong place. At the end, they smeared left over caulking on their fingers over the exterior stucco or interior painted walls. We emailed the complaint right away and ***** said, Well, I see that the construction crew did a great job based on the after photos I received from ******. So we held payment. When the owner called us we simply started the conversation expressing that we were unhappy with the work ethic and installation of the windows. We then added that we felt we were taken advantage of when they decided to rush the construction to ensure completion in one (1) day. The owner asked if he can send his construction team back to do a better job, we expressed that we unfortunately do not trust Sivan Windows to come back and make things right. After expressing that we are not going to provide full payment, we arrived at a discounted amount for two (2) windows that were wrongfully installed.

  I had the worst experience with this company and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Things started off well, their customer service rep, ***, came to show my options for a new front door and explained everything to me. He said they would remove the old door and that the new one would be completely installed with new molding etc. I should have known there were problems when someone else contacted me with the order and it was all wrong, it wasn't what *** and I had decided on. Then the installers came and they said that wasn't true, they were just supposed to put the door in but no molding so the door is not finished properly. The door had a chip out of the finish and the guy told me to fix it myself. They also acted like they were doing a favor to remove the old door. They said the outdoor molding was backordered and they would return to install that in 2 weeks. At that time they said I owed the remaining amount and I wrote a check and gave it to the installer. Next thing I know I received three emails, two text messages and two phone messages saying I hadn't paid. All from different people. I complained. Three weeks later they scheduled the outdoor molding install. Then the installers didn't show up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They do poor workmanship and they don't show up and they don't have their act together. I wish I could get my money back.
