Hello, I hope this response finds the customer, and anyone reviewing it well.

It appears as though this is an issue with the organization hosting a fundraiser using the Webconnex Software, not the Webconnex Software. Movie To Movement is a different entity that uses Webconnex Software products, such as GivingFuel, to host their fundraisers.

We are able to track down the purchase made was a monthly recurring donation for the organization, Movie To Movement. We recommend reaching out to the organization for any further support on receiving a refund and cancelling the recurring frequency, as this is not something we are able to facilitate on our end.

I purchased two tickets to the West Coast Taco and Beer Festival in ************* on August 3, 2024. I purchased these tickets on July 21, 2024 and paid $104.92. The event was advertised as being run by Blue Stream Entertainment and my tickets were purchased through Ticket Spice; the email confirmation for the order is from a Ticket Spice email address. The event advertised unlimited tastings for beer and tacos. However, when we arrived at the event we were told tacos were only being sold. Since this was not as advertised we didnt go to the festival and were told by what I believed to be a staff member of the event that we could get a refund from ******* and Blue Stream Entertainment. I cannot find a website for this person and dont think my email requesting a refund will be read or honored. Since ticket spice was the medium by which I purchased the ticket, I will pursue a refund through them.

    Hi there,

This appears to be an issue with the event vendor, West Coast Taco and Beer Festival, not the Webconnex software. West Coast Taco and Beer Festival is a completely separate entity that happens to use Webconnex software products, such as TicketSpice, to sell tickets for their events online.

For further context, Webconnex owns TicketSpice which is the ticketing software that allows third-party vendors to sell tickets for their events online. Neither TicketSpice or Webconnex are the entities organizing, promoting, hosting, and/or operating the events themselves.

Since this is an issue with West Coast Taco and Beer Festival promoting an event that appears to not have been misleading, we recommend reaching out on their support page for a refund or direct this complaint to BBB for West Coast Taco and Beer Festival.

Hello, I hope this response finds the customer, and anyone reviewing it well.

It looks as though this claim was made towards a third party purchase protection add on for the ticket that was purchased by the consumer. Attached is a receipt of the ticket buyer opting into the purchase protection offered by the event organizer. Just as an overview the purchase protection feature is a integration set up within our software but a completely separate entity therefore the explanation for a different charge to the individual with a different entity name. The ticket holder would have also received a confirmation email from the purchase protection company confirming the charge.

You can reach out to the company or the event organizers with any questions in regards to the charges to your card.

My business, Good Vibrations Tiki cruises, LLC signed up with TicketSpice (WebConnex) over the past few months and signed up with to use their payment processor system (WePay). We have processed a few business transactions worth over $6000.00 the last few months, but the credit card transactions have not been deposited into my company bank account to date. I have been requested to update my operations address over and over, 8 times now, to verify my account. Each time after 2-3 days, it comes back as declined. I have verified the account using three different addresses to determine if any of them would be accepted to verify the account. No matter what address I attempt to use, the account is declined. ********************** tells me to keep verifying the account and I have explained ***** times now that I have tried to do so. No one will get on the phone with me to resolve. They will only chat bot with me.As of today, I requested in writing TicketSpice to refund the customer's credit cards. I cannot do so as a business because I was never given the money from the transaction. They responded by stating below..."I can appreciate that you are upset.I would not recommend having customers call their banks to file a charge back as you will be responsible for a chargeback fee for each customer who disputes the charge"At this point, I no longer know what to do. They give me the same message over and over. I am hoping the BBB will have better luck trying to resolve this issue.

I purchased tickets for the overdrive monster truck show. It was through ticket spice which is owned by this LLC I am writing the complaint against. It appears these tickets were fake and myself and many others showed up in ************ today 4/20/24 for the monster truck show and there was no show at the **************** in ***************************. I tried contacting every number I could find and none of them work. I spent $136 for my kids to see the monster truck show and now no way to get a refund or get a response.

    Business Response

This appears to be an issue with the event vendor, Overdrive Monster Trucks, not the Webconnex software. Overdrive Monster Trucks is a completely separate entity that happens to use Webconnex software products, such as TicketSpice, to sell tickets for their events online.

To confirm Overdrive's use of our software, weve looked into our system and see that they are a legitimate event provider who have processed tickets through our software successfully in the past (ref: **************************************************************). There are many reasons they may not have hosted their event, however, we are not the ones liable to refund tickets to their customers in the case the event is not put on.

For further context, Webconnex owns TicketSpice which is the ticketing software that allows third-party vendors to sell tickets for their events online. Neither TicketSpice or Webconnex are the entities organizing, promoting, hosting, and/or operating the events themselves.

Since this is an issue with Overdrive Monster Trucks promoting an event that appears to not have taken place, we recommend reaching out on their support page for a refund, (**********************************************) or direct this complaint to BBB for Overdrive Monster Trucks.

I am rejecting this response because:

when using the link provided for overdrive support it brings me to a fairgrounds in **. When speaking with them they state they only host events they have no connections to overdrive. Now I spoke with someone at web connect and they said the url I had seemed suspicious. Also, I spoke with the fairgrounds in ** where the event was supposed to be hosted and they confirmed that overdrive had not been in contact and has never tried to set anything up with them. When looking on ******** it shows that overdrive has been impersonating another company and selling fake tickets.

when I was first filing my complaint, I tried making the complaint to overdrive monster truck and that did not show up as a valid business and it would not allow me to do a complaint.

what am I supposed to do now?

    Business Response

    Date: 04/26/2024

As a reminder, we are the intermediary software that allows event organizers, such as Overdrive, to sell tickets for their events. We are not liable if event organizer decides to cancel and/or promote an event that has not taken place, even if it's believed to be fraud.

We've looked into the Overdrive Monster Trucks account in our system and there's no reason for us to believe they are fraud, or impersonating another company. They've processed too many tickets without any issues such as this in the past. We did have one person write into our chat support mentioning that the same event that didn't occur, which leads us to believe that Overdrive must have promoted that event prematurely and then took it down. Regardless it's Overdrive's responsibility to refund for any events they promoted that didn't take place.

Overdrive's contact information on this page: **********************************************

You'll need to work with them to collect your refund. There's nothing more we can do to help this issue.

My booking manager set up an account to sale *********************** for an event I had on 10/20/23. He set this account up in July. He's had to reach out several times regarding issues where customers couldn't buy tickets. I have not received the $320 payout from my ticket sales. I've requested call backs from customer service as well as he has. No one ever calls & the chat team are all bots that say someone will email you back. You never get to actually talk to anyone. I need my payment

Hello, I hope this response finds the customer, and anyone reviewing it well.

This issue arose due to complications this customer faced with a third-party payment processor called WePay. Our company, TicketSpice, is commonly misinterpreted as a payment processor because customers use our software to sell tickets, however, funds from ticket sales are process through WePay, not TicketSpice again, we are not a payment processor. We've provided screenshots that show the conversations between our company chat support at TicketSpice and the customer. These screenshots show both the conflict the customer was facing, and the resolution to their issue. In the end, our team advocated on behalf of this customer to WePay because *****'s support chat was not addressing the customer's issue or getting back to them about reimbursing their funds. However, WePay did indeed eventually pay back the full amount requested by the customer, as stated in the attached screenshot.

    In Summary:
    - This customer was paid out by WePay.
    - This customer was not able to communicate with WePay, so our support team advocated for them.
    - Our company, TicketSpice, is a totally separate entity from WePay and is *not* a payment processor.

Lastly, we are excited to share that we have recently discontinued our partnership with WePay, and have moved to a much better payments processor called Adyen.
