    Company: Web Design Harbour Transaction Date Range: November 2023 - January 2024 Scam Amount: $12,500 Over the course of a few weeks, this company (which doesnt have an operating license in the **) scammed me out of $12K+ for their services in helping me build a simple website. I was overcharged for features/services that werent necessary or even completed. Unfortunately I didnt realize it was a scam until months later when my website kept being taken down for no apparent reason. Then the company blames me and offers more services to fix it. They didnt provide all of the services I charged on my credit card with ************ Initially, *********** credited my account for the charges but now theyre reversing the credits and closing the files citing their 60-day from statement closing date policy as the timeframe disputes can be filed, The company charged me over a thousand dollars for a permanent domain which Ive found was purchased from ************* for about $20 and it was only purchased for 1 year (with an expiration date of 11.1.2024. Also, they charged me over a thousand dollars for ****** Analytics which I recently found out is free. Furthermore, they charged me thousands of dollars for firewalls, keywords, and protection services that were supposedly going to protect my customers information. The contact numbers I was provided have all been disconnected. Ive tried the number currently on the website and its a ****** number. Ive also learned from **** reports that are just now popping up that I was charged 3-4 times more than other customers for similar services, The company was trying to charge me an additional $30,000 for other basic services. As Im typing this, my website was taken down once again, Its happening repeatedly. I cant trust doing any business on it, The company manipulates people through bogus reviews on Trust Pilot as it only requires an email address to write a review -- thus can easily manufacture good reviews.

    He hired Web Design Habour to host my company's website (Market Intelligence appraisals) for 3 years amount $448 USA. They told me that their hosting service is free as it is part of a website development package. I told them that I already have a website and a domain, I just need a company that will host my website and assist me with technical issues. They agree to offer me a paid hosting service with technical assistance for 3 years. I started with them in June 3, 2022. I occasionally ask them for technical assistance. This week (October 15, 2024), I had an issue with the website that was not opening and my outlook account was not opening as well since my business outlook account is directly link the my business' website. They sent me the credentials for the website and for one of my outlook email. They refused to provide me with technical assistance and to give me the credentials for my second business outlook email account. This is negatively affecting my business. I cannot have access my data and cannot communicate with clients. The support guy of Web Habour design told me that from today, they are no longer responsible of my website, they will not host it again and if I have any issue I should no contact them. But I paid for a 3 years hosting service which is supposed to expire next year on June 3, 2025. He told me that I cannot do anything to them. Please I need the refund and also have access to my credentials/ my business property.I am looking forward to hearing back from you.Thank you in advance for your help ********* Mba

    Web Design Harbour appears to be a scam company who charged my elderly father over $10,000 to create an extremely basic website. They continued to issue false invoices for nonsensical services, taking advantage of my father who recently suffered a stroke.When Web Design Harbour was engaged to validate and provide proof of services rendered, not only were they unable to provide anything, they indicated in fact the company address displayed on their website is not correct. After much back and forth, they finally provided what LLC they claim to use, which is called: JTZIPIFY LLC This LLC is not active.Based on communications with this false company, it seems likely they are operating outside of the **, though setting up temporary LLCs in order to charge peoples' credit cards.I can provide additional detail, including the false invoices and email communications if needed. Despite requesting a full refund for the fraudulent services, Web Design Harbour communicated they are unwilling to refund anything.

    I hired Web Design Harbour to create my business website. We entered into a contract and placed a $970.00 deposit. After a month and a half, they had offered a nonfunctional website.They agreed to 100% money back guarantee if not 100% satisfied. They refuse to refund my money. Sadly, I had no other option than to end trying to work with this company and simply wish to receive my money back and seek out another website design company.They have committed fraud and I would like a complete refund.     This company is a scam they asked for more money after saying they could not build my website unless I brought another domain for another 1200 when I said I did not want to do that they had my current website suspended. Refused to give me my money back when I said I no longer wanted to work for the company. This company is a scam unprofessional and trying to ruin my company

    The following is actually ongoing: LESS THAN 10 HOURS OF WORK IN 9 WEEKS///NOW THEY THREATEN *** am still in the middle of the project that has been going on for 9 weeks. My project is creating a logo and a 4 page web site with cc payment capabilities and order form. The templates offered by them did not truly reflect my brand so I changed the home page,to a four element file, keeping the rest of the template for the other pages, The home page is to be picture for back ground a picture to be superimposed over the background picture the logo and letters or fonts.I have attached a link to the web site so you can see. You can see the edges of the superimposed picture over the back fround pictrue. The background picture is dull and dingy not like the original. and the fonts match none of the fonts on the other pages. Here is the link to it. ***************************************. It was totally unacceptable and they have not been able to create the home page. Since it was so difficult for them I changed the home page to two elements, the logo over a picture and they havent produced that in 10 days. I hear from them on an average of once a week, yes, that's once a week., with about two hours worth of work done on my website. I have asked if any issues arise call me text me email me, but after a week I got a note asking for a link that provides online order forms because the one they were using was not flexible.so now that they have sent that request I dont expect to hear from them for about a week. IN 9 weeks I would estimate that they have worked on my project for less than 10 hours. They took my money, and between 7 and 8 weeks later refused to respond to complete the work they were hired to do. I wrote a review and put it on trustpilot, and their lawyer Attorney ************************************ #******, is threatening me as I write this with financial ruin, he wrote "you will be held liable for damages ranging from $20,000 to $150,000 for your defamatory actions and breach of contract. This financial burden will undoubtedly ruin you completely."The company has committed the act of fraud against me and threatens me if I expose their fraudulent activities.I have the first and the last emails between the company and I and can prove beyond doubt the verasity of all in my complaint.
