1 starEven before I canceled my ** ink subscription I received spam multi-page print jobs that added to the depletion of my ink cartridges and increased my cost for the ink used. Issue became worse after I canceled the ** ink subscription and was buying the ink commercially. I contacted ** support when the ** ink subscription was active, and was assured that the problem was resolved. The ** ink subscription is a disservice to the customer by forcing depletion of the ink in order to increase their profits.Review fromSharon C

1 starJust as I suspected! This is the diagnosis I got from **** when my printer would not work. HP DIAGNOSTICS EXPERT:- **** ***** ======================================NETWORK SECURITY ;- MISSING ======================================Security Missing infected error found drivers corrupted csrss.exe trojan found need repair ======================================WEBROOT ANTI-VIRUS = $100 EVERY YEAR ======================================NETWORK SECURITY FIREWALL ONE TIME FIX ;- CLEAN UP TUNE UP + RE-INSTALL / DRIVER PRINTER = $250 ======================================TIME ;- ***** MINS ======================================SECURITY;-NETWORK SECURITY FIREWALL + WEBROOT SECURE ANYHWERE + TECHNICAL SUPPORT 2 YEAR;- $450 5 YEAR;- $730 ======================================This is all bull____! I had already been through one service on Jan. 24 when "Rocky" said I had a virus that was keeping my printer from working. Then, it turned out to be the HP Instant Ink issue. They had turned off my printer. I paid him $249.99 to fix it and to buy Webroot which was supposed to be a antivirus program for one year. Rocky said I would not have any more problems. Then, this! As you can see above, **** ***** wanted me to pay another $250 to remove a trojan. I can't believe that ** knows these people exist and are doing the things listed in the complaints. I will never buy another ** product. About a week after my issue with Rocky, someone got into my computer. It was the middle of the night but I got up and could see that someone was moving my mouse around. I turned off my computer and hoped that would solve the problem. The next day someone had gotten into ******* and charged two $100 gift cards to my bank. I called the bank and since they were still pending the girl cancelled them. Now, ******* has turned it over for collection. I think this was Rocky. I wanted people to know my experience so they avoid HP.Review fromJuan S

1 starThis company is a scam with predatory proprietary products. I dont care that a 3rd party ink cartridge will void a warranty on a printer that is either old, or not worth in price. They require you to purchase ink from solely ** but do not reference that ANYWHERE on their packaging. I will never buy ANYTHING ** again. If my job attempts to upgrade me to the ** laptop I will reject and propose they not use this scam of a companyReview fromPATRICIA E

1 starHorrible service! I've been on the Instant Ink program for several months. I now have over 100 rollover pages on my account. I called to pause the service. The woman I spoke to said she paused it, and I could call when I was ready to "unpause" it. She apparently didn't pause it as they took the money out of my credit card. I called and spoke to another person who told me it would be paused. I received an email stating how many pages I had (over 100), no pause to account. I called and spoke to yet another person who stated he paused the account for six months (stated I should check back on 9/12/25 to restart subscription). I then received an email stating the account was paused until March 14, 2025 and would be charged on that date. I called again. This Representative said he would have an Operations Manager from the Escalation Team call me. He assured me he would assist me and would "do something to make up for the trouble I've been having ... perhaps a refund." That guy was the biggest idiot of all. He only reiterated that the account would be charged on 3/14/25. He definitely did not offer me a refund. He was totally unprofessional and incompetent. So, I told him to just CANCEL the account. I'll go purchase a ***** printer and deal with a company that actually cares about their customers. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ********************** to anyone! I spent so much time on the phone, it was ridiculous. I don't think any of these representatives had any idea what they were doing ... train your employees! This program is seriously flawed. It's a scam. Don't fall for it. I wasted money and time on this. NOT WORTH IT.Review fromJason B

1 starAutomated warranty validator is perpetually incorrect. My HP+ printer was supposed to come with 2 year warranty, but the validator seems to think it's only 1 year. The supposed dispute process is a black hole. Tech support is incompetent and won't do anything until the warranty status gets updated - which never happens. Such a shame!Review fromKaeli M

1 starI ordered a HP Envy Laptop 17t-da000, 17.3" from ****** in Nov. 2024. Received the laptop Dec. 2024. Since I received my laptop, I've had several issues including, but not limited too, screen freezing, locking up, icons disappearing, black screen, *** ports not working. I made several phone calls to tech support regarding these issues throughout a four (4) week time period. They did several troubleshooting steps including doing a complete reset on my laptop three (3) times. Nothing has worked. I'm still currently having the same issues I did when I received it. I have asked tech support to send me a replacement ************* refuse. They suggested I send my laptop to them so they can look at it, but can not guarantee that I get a loaner laptop. All of my issues are covered under my full warranty that I have on my laptop, but they refuse to honor it. I would not recommend ** to anybody again.Review fromKaren R

1 starI would give zero stars if I could. This company hires incompetent and unintelligible people, who cannot help you or answer a question worth a s---. I purchased an HP smart tank printer in Aug 2024 and it has never worked properly. I've called over a dozen times to trouble shoot, with no lasting results to help. They refused to refund the money for a "lemon", escalated the issue to someone, but NO ONE has helped. They email to say they'll call me and then they DO NOT. This company is run ************ and it is a wonder they can stay in business. My company, my family, and my friends will never purchase any ** products ever again. There are plenty of other choices out there.Review fromMoe K
