This is the worst level of support anyone can find. The customer service agents are rude and not helpful. The processes in place keep you in a loop of non compliance and we are not able to be paid. I was told that every time a real estate company invites you to join then you are placed out of compliance for all other vendors. So I got an invite from one and was placed out of compliance and cannot get paid. The agent disconnected and never fixed

They furnish a website called Rent Cafe where you fill applications for apartments and then they charge you a fee for the apartments at the end. I entered my information but then decided I didn't want to rent from the apartment complex so I cancelled my application, even spoke with a lady from the complex and told her I will not proceed so she said she would make sure it was cancelled, which it was. Two days later, they deducted $265.00 from my account anyway, one for the app fee and the $200.00 for a deposit for an apartment I won't be living in. I left several voicemails to the number on my bank statement with no return calls so I called the apartment complex and spoke with Stephanie. She said she would send my refund in check form and that has been almost 2 weeks. I have sent messages and left voicemails to her and rent cafe with no response. I will now have to get the money through my bank which will be a long process. I suggest that nobody apply for apartments this way. I will also take to social media as well as the apartment complex website warning people what can happen if they use this site.

I would give a zero if it were possible. In the future, I will refuse to contract with any company that uses Vendor Shield. Proving compliance to VS involves an unreasonable process with little to no support. If your insurance broker submits a proof of insurance to VS that does not meet requirements, you literally have to GUESS what is wrong with it. You can't talk to a real person at VS, they don't return calls, and the chats are minimally helpful. In my case, after multiple online chats. I was told that there was an incorrect address on a form. That was corrected, but I was STILL non compliant. After contacting VS AGAIN, I learned that there was another technicality that had to be addressed. There was no question as to my coverage; only that the forms submitted didn't suit. The forms had been submitted in the same manner for all the previous years. THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE TO WORK WITH.

Yardi told the IRS that they paid me $177,000. Dollars in the year 2022. When in reality they paid me $17,000. Now my SSI DI is being shut off and my medical too! I’m disqusted by how these companies get to hurt people and there’s no recourse.

Worst company we’ve ever done business with. It has taken months to rectify all my insurance documents. Had to upgrade my insurance to $2million and I’m just a painter with NO employees. Had to get $1 million commercial insurance for my 2005 vehicle. Needed a state form but they couldn’t give me the name of the form because “every state is different “. So we purchased a bunch of different forms from our state til one was correct. Now I know to avoid doing any with any company that uses this 3rd party service and I have warned every business that I come in contact with of the dangers of working with Vendor Cafe!!!!

My company found an AWESOME way to deal with the Vedorshield. We charge a $500 admin fee payable prior to us giving Vendorshield a dime. We also decline to use their payment processing, This eliminates our exposure to risk completely!

terrible Service just adds time expense to construction costs. If your a contractor make sure your client does not use this service if they do tell them you will charge them $95.00 per hour you have to deal with just submitting a cert of insurance or and form. If any of my clients use this service it will be a deal breaker I will turn down the contract.

This software never showed that there were bounced cc payment from a tenant for 4 months in a row for almost $2,000/month. The account balance was $0 from June - Sept. There should’ve been a negative $8000 balance on account by 9/30/23, showing the bounced credit card payments. The owners or brokerage are out of almost $8,000. DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP IN A LAWSUIT. The ledger even shows the tenant pd in full for the last half of 2023, with no balance on account, so there is no way to have known this tenant lived there for free for 4 months, as I don’t have access to check the broker’s company bank account and the brokerage wasn’t checking this in their account. Multiple reports will show different numbers depending on what you’re looking at for other owners. It never figured out the distributions to the owners correctly so I had to do it by hand using their reports in transaction register, which took a ton of time. I got the software to make things easier and it was honestly easier to keep up with everything by hand in ms excel. You have to pay $150/hr to call in and speak to someone for technical help when things don’t work right in their end. It’s ridiculous. WARNING: STEER CLEAR

Vendor Cafe is an awful system. The recently "update" the user interface but you cannot get to any of the functionality without going back to the old interface. They provide no customer support with errors. It takes many seconds to switch between screens - really not at all vendor friendly.
