    The business website promised free shipping. The attached receipt shows "Free Shipping." Once the order was placed I was called by the business and told I had to pay an additional $270 in order to complete the order. The business threatened to cancel my order if I didn't pay the additional shipping fee. The shipping experience was terrible and I sent the business manager (****) the email below. I have not received a response. Hello ****,I am following up to let you know that my turf finally arrived. The shipping and delivery experience, however, was absolutely terrible. The delivery was made via a full length semi-truck. I had asked them to back into my driveway to facilitate dropping the turf near the location where it will be installed. That was not possible with the size of truck they made the delivery with. Further, the driver had no way to actually move the turf roll once he arrived on site. He had no forklift, dolly, or anything! He and I had to struggle to move the turf to the back of the truck, then push it into the bed of my pickup truck to get it out of the semi. Then, we had to move it across a busy highway in the back of my truck while it was almost dragging on the ground. The entire experience associated with the shipping has been absolutely ridiculous. First, I was contacted immediately after I placed the order and told I owed another $270 for shipping, despite my receipt showing that I qualified for free shipping. Then, the shipping was delayed by more than a week with the product sitting in storage in ******** because they don't deliver to my location. So, the estimated shipping time was off by nearly two weeks. Then, the delivery experience was terrible. You offer a great product at a reasonable price. That being said, my experience with this whole process was not good. I am respectfully requesting a reimbursement of $270 for the shipping costs.     We ordered 4 rolls of artificial turf for the total of 5885$ on Apr 15th and 25th 2023. During the installation it was discovered that the wrong type of turf was sent. We ordered ****in landscaping turf, and received 1 in pet turf instead. Contacted the owner ************************* and he initially offered to come and pick it up, then on the scheduled day he wouldnt respond to the emails nor calls. When we were finally able to reach him from a different number he said there was nothing he could do and would not provide a refund. We opened a credit card dispute that lasted through September and when the merchant was contacted he lied saying we never reached out to him nor his office. After i sent him an email reminding of our case he changed his response to a credit card company, saying all we asked was a discount, not a refund. He is a liar and very dishonest person. He wouldnt accept the chargeback and we are taking him to the small claims court.
