    In April, before I gave Travis ***** my computer to fix, I made it clear Im a teacher making my living with that computer. He seemed to empathize. When he invoiced me, I paid the same day. Then I tried to be patient because I trusted he was doing his best. After all, he did have so many five-star reviews.After I paid, Mr. ***** strung me along then ghosted me for weeks. I went there, but his residence had been evacuated. Alarmed, I disputed the credit card charge and filed a police report. Only then was I worth replying to. In July, Mr. ***** offered in an apologetic email to mail the computer but only as soon as I provided proof that I had dropped the dispute with the credit card company and closed the police report, both by me making a false statement that we had already resolved the matter. Obviously, I knew that even after doing that, Id still be out of a computer.I offered in writing to close the police report immediately after getting the computer back as-is because I had no problem taking it elsewhere to be fixed, but I would have to get it back first, which he said he understood. But Mr. ***** refused to reveal his whereabouts or to meet in person and didn't respond to my offer to mail the computer to someone else who could meet with me in person. My last request was for a simple pic of the serial just to confirm he still had the computer. To me, no response is a clear no.
