as a web host, the business is giving me the run around in my attempts to transfer my web domain to a new webhosting ********** transfer my domain, I need to acquire an *** code. Their online help guides show that there is a menu option where you can get the codes. I followed all the instructions and when I get to the place where their guide shows the option to get your code, the menu option simply does not exist. So their documentation on how to transfer domains from their control is inacurate (convenient for them).I then opened a support ticket to figure out how to get the code. A tech support specialist responded with the following information:1. you must contact billing to get the *** code 2: Billing may take several business days to get back to you 3. You need to leave the live chat immediately regarding this issue. The representative then closed my help ticket and locked me out from creating new ones. I emailed their tech support and billing with no response in 48 hours. Their phone number only takes me to sales. All other attempts to contact the company has been met with complete silence. This is MY domain that I purchased for my business, the *** codes are MINE to transfer my domain where I wish. It is entirely unacceptable for a business to be withholding this information that is rightfully mine from me and give me the run-a-round.
