    On 9-11-23 I had DJs home improvements replace a leaking French door. He came out and tore out old door and fixed bad wood from water damage. Assured me that this would fix the problem. Next time it rained the brand new door was still leaking. I notified the installer. He came out and told me that I now needed gutters. This brand new door should not be leaking. I feel the installation was not done properly. We paid **** dollars and we had to provide the door. Also we had to do all finishing paint and caulk work to the trim ourselves. Work seems to be very poorly done. And thats just the part we can see. I feel like Im going to have to pay someone else to remove and reinstall properly.

    When contacted by ****** of the issue door was still leaking I went to address the issue and found that the door itself isn't leaking door is properly installed and sealed. Leaking issue is from siding issues that we had nothing to do with. Asked her to contact me with anymore concerns and have not heard anything so I assumed the issue was resolved

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I didnt just hire this company to replace door but to resolve leaking issue as well. I made it clear that I did not want to put a bunch of money in fixing the framing if moisture was just going to wreck it again. He assured me he would fix it and didnt.

    I'm sorry that your not happy with the in swing French Doors you purchased. The door is installed correctly. You have other issues that is causing water to get in your house. Doors are sealed correctly.

    Job was completed as described Doors that homeowner purchased was installed correctly and also sealed. Homeowner has other issues causing water to get inside the house. Will not issue a refund for work that was completed correctly. I advised homeowner that she had other issues. Even went back when she called and removed drywall to help her inspect for water after raining.

    ***** unfortunately it looks like we are not going to be able to come to resolution in this matter. He is being dishonest about what we agreed upon. I would have never agreed to hire him if he told me that he would install the door without fixing the leak. *** had another contractor come out and look and says the work was done poorly, he even broke the frame of door instead of shiming properly. But he will not take responsibility for his poor work. Im going to take it as a loss and would like to note that my complaint was unresolved and would like it posted so other ppl can protect themselves against this contractor. Thank you
