      It took them 4 days to approve closing a cd by a payee with a death certificate. They knew we were coming back Friday, around lunch & told us they would have everything ready when we got there, which wasnt done. She also knew we were rolling it over into another cd, & would be adding money to it from our savings account. I was appalled when she CHARGED us to do it! The money STAID ****** **** were CHARGED A FEE! Being a former bank employee, I know a little about the financial institutions side of things, & this whole situation has been completely UNACCEPTABLE!

      We apologize for the inconvenience during your recent CD closure and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We've refunded the erroneous fee and attempted to reach out to you directly to communicate the resolution and discuss any further concerns you might have; unfortunately, we were unable to reach you. Regarding the paperwork delay during your visit, we understand your frustration and want to clarify that the employees at the branch did advise ahead of time that they could not have everything ready until the necessary steps were completed in our software. We apologize if there was any miscommunication, and we are continuously working to enhance our communication processes to avoid such instances in the future. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced, and we appreciate your understanding as we strive to provide you with the best possible service.
