      Performance Window Cleaning was hired in December 2022 to clean both interior and exterior windows following a home renovation. These high quality windows, all brand new and many floor to ceiling, were protected on the inside during the majority of our renovation. Once Performance Window Cleaning completed their work, we noticed that many of the windows had numerous scratches on the inside and outside. The owner refused to take responsibility for the damage but offered us a free follow-up exterior window cleaning service at a later date which was not accepted as it would not have resolved the actual damage and could potentially cause more based on this experience. We requested a few times that he come see the damage in person and when he finally agreed to visit the house, he said he would work with us to make the situation right and would contact our window company to find a solution. This unfortunately never happened. We ended up contacting the window company ourselves to assess the damage and they confirmed that the damage was due to window cleaning and quite extensive. This information was relayed back to the owner of Performance Window Cleaning and to our surprise he denied that his employees and their tools could have caused the damage and advised that any further communication should be directed to his lawyer.
