    Ordered a new sensor for upstairs on November 28 2022. Still have not received product, have not heard back from customer support, abs also have not gotten a refund in all this time. They told me when I ordered it that it could take at most 5-7 business days to receive. It’s December 20 and I’m still out the money I paid and still no sensor to properly run my furnace, abs worst still no word on if it ever even shipped, **** ******* ** * ***** **** *** * ****. It is minus 6 degrees and in my area right now, and there is a windchill advisory of below 26 for tonight and tomorrow. Customer service does not care or even try to find a resolution, even things as simple as a refund are way too hard for this company to do. I need to order my sensor from a different store, since ecobee clearly does not know how to ship their own products out in a timely fashion. It is a 2x2 inch sensor for crying out loud!

    Terrible customer support I purchased a 2 pack room sensors, one of the sensors appear to be defective.I have trie for months to speak to someone at Ecobee to get a replacement, have calle many times once to be left on hold for over an hour with no response, they offer a call back so you don't have to wait on hold no one ever calls. I have never seen such poor service in my life. * ***** **** **** **** *** *****

    Poor customer support. Chat is not available from the company, have to use some other internet thing (********?) I dont know what this is. Long hold times on the phone with annoying music, no option for no music. Temperature setting can be complicated so help is frequently needed.

    Horrible customer service. My ecobee stopped working after installing a new furnace. They expected me to change the wiring in my ecobee. Reluctantly I followed the CS instructions. I sent pictures of the original wiring and then the new wiring. Still didn’t work. Then the CS wanted me to open the new furnace and send her pictures of the wiring. I was uncomfortable performing this procedure on a new furnace. Then she suggested I ask a family member or friend to assist me. We were without heat and 25 degrees outside. I called the company where I purchased the $5000 furnace. They came to my home and said there was nothing wrong with the furnace. All the photos were sent to Ecobee as requested. They have done nothing to help me. My unit is under warranty and they won’t replace it. It is 2 years and 10 months old. The warranty is for 3 years. Seems like they are stalling so they won’t have to replace it.
