      ** ****** *** * were changing a number over to group our phones on one account, we were about to cancel our bell, as they did not give us what they promised, would not honor the deal we were told we were going to get along with keeping my number, then proceeded to give us a retention deal, which we were clearly told, we would only be paying the new rate plan, that all transfer, cancellation, device balance remaining on my line and any other associated fees, then told us our bill would be higher at the start, then would be corrected with credits within 2 to 3 months and told us our monthly total with internet and phones grouped would be about 290. So we paid what we were told. Now after 4 months, 6 or 7 times contacting, no willingness for them to help correct their own mistake, we find out that the balance that was supposed to correct, DOUBLED! now they say we owe them $300, then the last call yesterday, ** ****** *** ***** ** * *** ******** they ******* her with unrelated deals, would not let her speak about our current issue and made her feel forced to accept a deal, which they promised would cost less, to find out, we would now owe MORE. And then proceeded to put the phone that she was told would be hers, on my line, so the wrong number, this has been an issue now for months, we have been patient and tried to work with them to resolve the issue and are now at the end of our wits, * ***** ***** **** **** ****** ** *** **** ******* **** ****** this is not the first time I personally have experienced this either. Also all this trouble after transferring a number from my dad's account, who has been a bell customer for over 30 years, very loyal bell family now rethinking ever trusting them again. We are planning to call again tomorrow to cancel the phone deal they promised would save us money, but failed to disclose they expect us to pay $400 for the phone and a $60 device setup fee, ** ****** **** ** *** **** ** *** ****** ** *** ***

      Company don`t respect refund policies published in ow website as advertising . False promises 30 days money back guaranty - if client is not happy with service. Refund 3-5 business days . Returned on second day since installed , due to the fact has been promised a network speed of 1000 mbps and delivered and tested to up 500 mpbs , since ****** received the modem and router , confirmed by ****** **** , don`t refund , long calls on billing they explain will refund in next 2 weeks , by a full billing cycle of a month period ... Official complaint made to the website form of ****** , but not official response or call . **** ****** ***** ***** *********** * ******** *** ******* *

      I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the services provided by Distributel. - Unfulfilled Activation Promise: Distributel promised to activate our account by January 28, 2024. Unfortunately, as of February 1, 2024, our account remains inactive. This delay is highly inconvenient and goes against the commitment made by the company. - Poor Customer Support: Attempting to resolve this issue through customer support has proven to be an arduous task. The phone line is consistently noisy, intermittent, and difficult to communicate through. The voice quality is exceptionally poor, making it nearly impossible to have a meaningful conversation with the customer support representatives. - ********* Pricing Practices: I engaged in a discussion with a representative over the phone to finalize a fair price for our services. Shockingly, just two days later, Distributel reneged on their commitment and attempted to increase the agreed-upon price. This ********* behavior is unacceptable *** ******** ****** ** *** ********* ******** *******  - Unauthorized Charges: Despite our account not being activated in January, Distributel has proceeded to charge us for services that were not rendered. This lack of transparency and charging for nonexistent services is both confusing and unacceptable. Given the multitude of issues outlined above, I have decided to terminate our association with Distributel *** **** ******** **** * **** ******** ******** ******* ********.       Had this company for internet for many years, nothing but trouble. Dropped internet, payments taken when not scheduled. Finally cancelled and returned everything and there still taking money from our account. **** ****

      **** ** *** ***** ******* * **** **** ***** ****, they have multi charged us and refuse to take ownership for their fault. **** ******** ********* *** ****** ***** They perform ***** and charge people's credit cards without their authorization and think that being billed yearly for a service should occur monthly. Not one customer service representative has the same information. ** *** *** **** ******** THERE IS NO ACCOUNTABILITY *** **** ***** ********* **** **********

      I signed up for a telephone service for my mother who has dementia and was moved to a seniors home so that her out of town family could call her. They told me that the phone had to be run from internet and not knowing I signed up for internet and telephone service. The telephone service never worked from the time it was installed. They told me that my mom’s old number could be ported from Rogers but it never happened. Each time I called they told me it would take 4 to 5 days to port. I called back numerous times and it was still not ported so I canceled the service and was told they would return her money only to be charged again for a service that was never used. ***** ******* * **** **** ***** **** *** I do not recommend anyone else deal with them. *** ****** ** ******* ** ********** *** ****** * ****** **** ********** ******

      Sep 30 2023, ordered new internet service, with Oct 10 install. Oct 10 comes and it is installed (Bell). CS Rep gave me incomplete details to connect my router. Bell installer left 14 cable ties on my driveway, garbage all over my basement floor. Tried to return the TP-LINK WIFI-router Distributel sent. One CS Rep said TP-LINK router is mandatory. Another said yes, please send it back… Got messages about 2nd install date of Oct 16. CS Rep says there is no Oct 10 install record. I explain that it’s already installed. Nobody can ever figure this out - and nobody ever escalates and resolves this, as asked repeatedly. Oct 16 night comes, and I get 7 calls, repeated knocking on my door while I’m putting kids to bed (Oct 16th Bell installer). Oct 17 - Distributel says “…it is not installed and even if at the moment you are using internet, please be aware that your connection can go out at any moment.” I have my old internet service cancellation cancelled. I ask for a month’s credit since I have to keep my old internet service going. They agree. Oct 20: Where is my new installation booking confirmation email? The Oct 23 service request was REJECTED, so no email was sent to me. Rejection was received YESTERDAY- Agent was to call me to reschedule. 3rd install date is Oct 30. Oct 30: Got email that they won’t credit me for my old service that I had to keep, just the 19 days since my 1st Oct 10 install date (but why would they charge me for that anyway, if they say my service was still not installed?) I give up, call to cancel Distributel service in frustration, ask how to cancel - am offered a discount to stay. Ask for every penny I spent refunded - done. This, and the initial order were the only good parts of this. I ask to return the ONT. She said to keep it, in case I want to come back later. I say NO CHANCE. Pls send written proof that it’s OK to throw it out, so I don’t get nailed later with a charge for not returning your hardware? No, keep it. BIG waste of time.

      ******** *******. This company will take your money and give you nothing. They charged me for one month's service in advance. Then they didn't come to install it. When I asked why, they had no answer. To resolve this, they offered to charge me more money. Naturally, I canceled their service and requested reimbursement. They said it would take 3-4 business days. One week later and I still don't have my money. ******* ***** **** ******** *** *****.

      I ordered internet service from them on July 14 2023, I paid my first month and was informed that the modem would be shipped to me and that service would be up and running. A few days later i received a txt msg saying that my install date was July 27 2023 and that a tech would be coming out in between the hours of 8am - 12pm, I was very upset at this time but they offered me a free month for my troubles and i was ok with that. July 27 2023 came and the tech came out and said that service could not be installed and that he would have to cancel the order, I was even more mad at this point because I felt like this company was a bad choice because I have had nothing but issues since I signed up. I called to cancel the service with them and I was told that a refund would be issued once the modem was returned, on July 28 2023 I went to the post office to send the modem back. The modem was delivered and was signed for on Aug 2 2023, I called into the company to find out about my refund and was told that as soon as they have it confirmed on their side they would send the refund. I then called today Aug 4 2023 to find out if my refund was processed and was told that it would be processed on my next billing date which is Aug 22 2023, now I am irate because I was told my refund would be processed as soon as they got their equipment back. I spoke to an agent that would not help me at all, so i requested a supervisor and was told that i would have to wait for a callback within 24 hours. I am so fed up with this company and I just want my refund and to be done with them, I wish i could give negative stars because they don't even deserve the 1 star rating i have to give.

      Terrible connection, terrible customer service. Even then cancellation process has been extremely frustrating, I do not recommend this company.
