    I had scheduled an appointment for March 18th at VF Service Canada Inc, located at *** ****** ****** in Vancouver (owned by VFS in Toronto) The appointment was set to begin at 11:15, and I arrived at approximately 11:05. Upon arrival, I signed in and proceeded to wait in the designated room. However, during my wait, I received a call from the BC government. Due to the lack of phone reception in the room, I had to step out to take the call, which lasted approximately 30 minutes. I remained near the door of the office room and the washroom on the same floor during the call. Upon returning to the room at around 11:40, I was informed that I had missed my appointment. While I understand the need for restrictions, I find it difficult to accept that the staff signed me in without providing any reminder during my absence. Additionally, the time slot allocated for appointments was not clearly stated to indicate that the allotted 15 minutes was solely for sitting in the room. This lack of clarity raises questions about what would happen if I had signed in at 11:30, as it would still have been possible for me to wait another 10 minutes. Considering these circumstances, I kindly request clarification on appointment protocols and advocate for greater transparency in communication. Additionally, I am disappointed to note that, despite the circumstances, I am expected to bear the financial loss associated with missing the appointment, which amounts to approximately US$101. I kindly request a refund of it to cover another appointment.
