    ********* ***** ****** *** ************* I went to Mr. Lube on Spadina to change brake pads only for my ***** ****. We agreed on a price. With no work done and no parts yet, the manager asked me to pay in full right then and there, I refused. I left a 50% ($1,000) deposit. Even with that, I still had to fight to get a proper written quote with the agreed price on it. Two days later parts arrived and I dropped off car. About 90 minutes after that, I got a call from manager, saying that all front and rear 4 rotors needed to be changed immediately or our lives will be in danger and they will not be responsible. * *** ********* I asked how much that would cost, he quoted $2,400 each rotor, plus labour and other minor parts and all this is in addition to the original cost of the brake pads I agreed to. So we’re talking about over $14K they want to charge!! **** **** ****** ** **** **** ****** ******** *** **** ******* Now that they have our car and my $1,000 they’re doing this??!! ** **** ***** ********* *** ******** ** ** ** **** ******* *** * ***** ** **** ****** *** ******** *** ***** **** *** **** ** *** *********** ** ***** **** When we told manager Shindi that NO, we have a quote from Audi, who told us the front brakes are fine for another year, manager Shindi ***** **** ** *** ****** ** ******* **** ** he started changing his numbers; from $2,400 down to $1,350 per. ***** If the rotors should be priced at $1,350 per, why did he quote me $2,400 per to start with??!! ****** **** **** ***** ***** ** ********* ** ******* *** ******* ***** ** *** *** **** ** ********* *** *** *** ***** ** ***** **** *** ***** ******** ***** *** ******** ******** ****** *** ***** ***** ***** ** ***** ********* ** *** ****** *** **** ** **** *** ****** ******** *** *********. ********** ************ ***** ********** *** *** ******* *** ** ***** ** ****** ***** ** **** **** **** *** **** ** ******* *** ****** ******* *** ******** ** ***** *** **********
