      Company refuses to pay my wages for a 1 day job completed in July/22. I submitted my timesheet already to the recruiter as he suggested to me to do via email, after I experienced difficulties in obtaining the site supervisor’s signature. The recruiter assured me he would get the timesheet signed and approved last week for payment today, but he did not. When I inquired into this with him today, he advised he had not gotten approval yet, and to wait until he did. He would not give a date he would definitely be submitting the timesheet for payment. When I asked why, he stated I should now go and get the timesheet approved and that he’s stopped “helping me”. He also lied about the number and types of jobs frequently available in our area, and only offers mill labour work that has a history of high risk of adverse safety and health outcomes for temporary workers like me. I wasted time, effort and equipment monies based on fraudulent representations by this company via its present recruiter for Sault Ste. Marie, “******”.
