    We just had a Renovation done by High Class Renovations and Construction and we are more than happy with the results. Charles and his team were very professional and provided top quality workmanship. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

    ****** *** **** ********* ******* ******* ****** *** ****** ** **** **** ***** *********** *** ** **** ****** We hired them to Reno our master bathroom and make it accessible *** ** ****** *** *** * ******** ************ ********** The project was 30% over budget. Quoted at $22,500, paid $26,500 + $2500 in our own materials + ** ****** had to do the painting to salvage some of the delays. The project was quoted to be done in 2 weeks, it took nearly 3 months. In Charles own words "these renovations are delayed and over budget 90% of the time". Charles contracts out all the work and then argues with and doesn't communicate with his contractors well. His tile guy ****** did the floor and then never came back. His "plumber" ***** is just a general contractor who isn't a licensed plumber. After *****'s plumbing work we have severely reduced water pressure in our house that we'll now have to investigate. Once ****** bailed, ***** came in to do the rest of the work. He complained about how much he was being paid every day. Any time we asked him to do work that was part of the contracted work (like reinstalling our toilet) he would say "oh that will cost more and Charles hasn't paid me to do that." Every finish and fixture he brought (without consulting us about them) was ****** ** *** ****** cheap. About half way through the job we started sourcing and paying for our own materials since we couldn't trust the quality of what was being provided. We ended up buying our own barn door, hardware, vanity mirror, light fixture, shower fixtures, vanity faucet, grab bars, 5 cases of tiles, and plumbing supplies. Due to Charles not being able to stick to the original timeline, ** ****** *** ****** **** ********** *** ** ** ** *** **** *** ******** ****** ** ****** *** ****** * ******* Charles lowballed the original quote, blamed his contractors for labour costs going up* *** ********** **** ********* ** * ******** ***** *** ****** *** *** **** *****

    ** **** **** ****** *** ********** ** ***** ** * ****** ***** ** *** ****. Charles promises a lot of things and does not deliver. We underwent an extensive renovation and the quality of work was horrific. All work was subcontracted out and we had to continuously call Charles to get any updates throughout the process. The more money we provided to him the worse the customer service became. On top of that there was a lot of hidden surprises and costs along the way. At the end of the renovation we declined to provide photos or a video because we were not satisfied and majority of materials we had to provide. A month after the renovation was completed and we had already paid the final payment we had a leaking toilet which flooded our basement. We called Charles and he declined to even come look at the issue, stating that the work was NOT under any warranty because we didn’t agree to provide photos or video. This was NOT in the contract. This company ** just *** ** **** **** ****** *** does not care about your home or the quality of work provided. **** *****
