Transaction Date June 15th 2022 Carpet for 2 flights of stairs and upstairs hallway. Berber Carpet that was very expensive. Was installed in June of 2022 by End of the Roll Ottawa East. The installation that was completed was below standards and seems and fraying all over. Carpet has lines and the where crooked in the hallway(not square). I called the End of The Roll and my sales person **** asked for pictures. I sent the pictures of the problem areas and he proceeded to book an inspection. The inspection occurred and the inspector agreed with the quality and admitted it was bad. End of the Roll agreed to replace the problem areas at no charge. I was happy with this as a resolution even if I would have to endure another mess. While we where waiting for a date for replacement I had a flood in the basement so I needed to replace the flooring. I spoke with **** and advised we will need to delay the re-install as we now are under construction. While in conversation I asked about carpet for the basement. **** showed me some option which I was happy with and they came to measure a few weeks later. I purchased the carpet from End of the Roll and payed for the install. What was agreed upon was that the would replace the upstairs the same day as doing the Basement new install. Fantastic installation was booked for Sept 5th. They completed all the necessary work that day and the basement turned out great. I noticed while doing the walk thru a line in the carpet upstairs. The installer said the will come out when you vacuum. 2 weeks later and a few vac's, line is still there. I called **** and sent pictures. A few weeks later they send the manufacture rep over to look. Agreed it was a defect and said they would get back in a few weeks. 2-3 Months later and 1 conversation saying total replacment of affected area or $200. I asked about just replacing it all again with a different carpet since they have to do the hallway all over. We will get back to you. 6 months later no change
