We hired Just Too Clean for a post construction clean, that was scheduled to occur on August 16, 2024. We were told that the clean would take between three and five hours, and would cost between $350 and $500 depending on size and how dirty it was. We were also told that the cleaning included thorough washing of all surfaces, including all floors and walls, to remove any post construction debris. It should also be noted that when the cleaners arrived, they told to my partner that the house was not very dirty. One of the cleaners made a similar comment to me upon my arrival 6+ hours into the cleaning. They had between 2 and 4 cleaners there throughout the day for a total of 16 man hours to clean a total of 1500 square feet. They left our home very dirty, did not clean the floors, the walls, the inside or tops of the kitchen cabinets where the bulk of the renovations occurred, they did not clean either bathroom or a downstairs bedroom and when confronted about this said they would come back and clean it in less than an hour. It took me seven hours that night to clean part of the floors and walls. It took another five hours the following day to clean the rest of the floors and the kitchen cabinets. On several occasions when my partner or I came by the house one of the cleaners was sitting in our backyard or milling around the front. They also broke a newly installed vent at our entry way and are refusing to reimburse the cost. They have only agreed to come down in their fee to $226 total. They are refusing to address the concerns about the repairs to the vent. And they are threatening to take me to collections, because I dont want to pay them until I have the issue around the repairs resolved. They also admitted to taking an item out of our refrigerator and consuming it without asking. I took several photos and videos that I sent to them and have email exchanges over the past two weeks. I am happy to share more but am limited in what I can attach.
