  We had the pleasure of working with Steve and his team from Steve Built Inc. for our bathroom renovation, and the experience was outstanding! From the initial site prep to the final touches, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. Communication was clear, timelines were met, and the end result exceeded our expectations.   Great communication in the planning stages and throughout our main floor renovation. The app they use to keep track of everything was super handy. We really appreciated how meticulous everyone was, from Steve and his crew to the sub trades he brought in for things like HVAC and plumbing. We finished on time and on budget and would recommend SteveBuilt to anyone looking for a general contractor.

  From the initial application stage with Amber, first meeting with Steve, and drafting of plans with architect Glen C, we were confident our mudroom/laundryroom addition, plus shed, would meet our expectations. A fully itemized estimate gave a clear picture as to costing. Any budget adjustments for client requested add ons and changes are promptly presented for approval. We were treated with fairness and consideration throughout the project. Starting with the first day of site prep, to the present day final touches, the SteveBuilt crew has been a pleasure to work with. They are a hardworking group, with an attention to detail, and pride in doing the job right. They have your back and your best interests in mind. A special shout out to Steve and Dave M in this regard! Any unexpected obstacles are dealt with head on. The client feels that the team cares, because they do. Steve surrounds himself with stellar staff and loyal contractors. We have no hesitation in recommending SteveBuilt.

  I can't say enough about Steve and his crews, their workmanship has exceeded my expectations. They could see my vision and made it come to life. The site was cleaned ever night...inside and out, even our neighbors commented on their work ethics. Rob, the site manager was a dream to work with, he became my soundingboard, my designer, I would ask his advice on everything before making a decision, I could trust his experience, and he was always bang on. The whole team treated my home as if it was theirs. My family and I couldn't have been in better hands. I will miss not seeing them everday. ******* *******

  SteveBuilt was recommended by a contractor who I highly respect from a previous basement buildout but who now specializes in luxury new builds not renovations. My project was a phased renovation that included multiple bathrooms, the kitchen, the main foyer and a full basement buildout, all accomplished while I remained in the home. At project inception, SteveBuilt provided a detailed, line-item cost estimate where all assumptions on work scope are transparent. They are respectful of client budgets and try to offer innovative design and material options to stay within those budgets. Invoicing is detailed by specific line-item so the homeowner is aware of where they are in terms of budget expended and remaining. The budget allowances are reasonable given the preferred vendors SteveBuilt has established relations with. Unless an unforeseen condition is discovered (e.g., hidden foundation cracks), there are no cost surprises. Owner, Steve S., has clearly established a service and quality standard that is exceptional, and his employees and subcontractors are aware of and respect this expectation. The SteveBuilt employees are respectful, extremely organized, meticulous in attention to detail, take ownership of any challenges and accomplish work scope as quickly as possible, including ensuring that their subcontractors’ have been set up for success. SteveBuilt’s Executive Assistant is an invaluable member who provides regular communications on project schedules and takes the lead to provide answers, typically within hours, to any client questions.
