      Dealing with Clera Windows has been horrible from the moment they got our money. We ordered 2 sets of patio doors in the fall of 2022. Took until April 2023 for them to arrive. Trying to get updates and information was very frustrating- would leave messages but no response (Ottawa). Used number that head office gave us for local rep. After complaining to head office about not getting any call backs from local rep, they contacted him and told him to call us. Well apparently he had changed his number and head office was giving out the wrong number. Fast forward to April 2023, doors finally arrive, got installed in May 2023. One set worked fine, other set was very stiff. Installer said something about letting them settle. It wasn’t getting better, another technician came in and did an adjustment. We gave it until Nov. 2023, but it was just getting worse with the cold weather. We have been trying since November 2023to get this fixed once and for all. Got a call ( after basically harassing local rep for weeks on end) from another technician who, over the phone, diagnosed the problem without even coming over to see for himself. Had to order some parts. We have been waiting since mid December. No updates or follow ups. We were told to email technician directly- no use he doesn’t respond- we tried. Local rep won’t give us the tech’s phone number. Keeps saying it’s out of his hands ( local rep) and up to technician now. Keeps saying that the tech will call us, but that has yet to happen. We’re hoping for this week, but who knows. AND who knows if the telephone diagnosis is correct. If not, we will have waited 2 months for a part that isn’t even the solution. We are fed up with the run around and poor customer service. Would never deal with this company again!

      Clera showed up to install 2 bay windows and three basement windows. They left insulation showing on the outside, stickers on all the windows, I called and they have never come to finish the job. They also did not clean up very well when they were done. Basement window is still leaking. By the way, they put new windows on top of crumbling wood.

      We have installed Clera Windows at our home in Kanata, Ontario, least 15 years ago. One of windows opening and closing mechanism broke and needed a replacement. We called costumer service at Clera Windows and spoke to **** ***********. **** was very easy to talk, understood the situation and mailed the parts. Installation was not included.
