    -Poor Quality of product used by Interlock Innovations for my step and walkway. -Final steps are undersized compared to previous step (see photo) -Discoloration stains on steps immediately upon installation (see photo) -Slow to complete soil/grass seed as part of project, but, after 3 weeks this was finally completed by contractor -Voiced dissatisfaction with work to ***** not long after completion in late May, but, fell on deaf ears and unwilling to admit issues exist with project

    Attached please find my response to the complaint.

     

    The materials were chosen by the consumer (*** ******) which he decided to move forward without discussing with his wife. (I believe her name is ******) met briefly after the project was completed. Once the project was completed I was paid in full the same day. The next day I was contacted by *** himself regarding the project. His wife wasn’t pleased with the outcome of the work. We met within a few days to discuss the matter and decided adding more interlock around the area to help with the aesthetic of the project. I came back with a price in about a weeks time. They didn’t accept, so we then agreed  that I would place soil and grass seed (not stated on the contract). I was delayed in getting it done due to weather but it was done as promised.

     

    Materials were purchased from my supplier and the job was done accordingly to the contract. The true issue is that *** never discussed the project with his wife and this is what led to a complaint that I truly did not deserve.

    Hello,

     

    The Quality of the steps (as per pictures shared) is not what was promised as part of the contract. The steps have marks and discoloration which isn't acceptable for a new project.

    ** didn't provide adequate reasoning for why the steps looked this way when discussing it with him.

    There isn’t absolutely anything wrong with the stairs. I can send out the ******** representative to have a look at them and you can take it up with him. Like I stated in my last response, ***’s wife didn’t like the stairs (project was never discussed with her) and you are trying to find excuses to have them replaced at no extra cost. In the process you’re trying to give my company a bad representation when this is truly all your fault. You should be ashamed of yourself!

    I am rejecting this response because: I am definitely not ashamed of myself as the pictures of the project tell the story and everyone who's seen them in person are underwhelmed by how the final product looks. I do want someone to provide me a legitimate reason for why the steps look so discolored/stained before I even remotely consider dropping this complaint.
