    Transaction Date: 24 Jul, 2024 Paid Amount: $3197.9 CAD The business committed to: Install air conditioning purchased from High Efficiency Cooling & Heating Inc The Nature of the dispute: Two pipes in the laundry room on the third floor were removed to install AC parts on July 24th afternoon. One of the pipes was not put back properly which caused a leak that dripped down my wall, carpet stair, door frame and into my hardwood floor. Upon discovering the damage, I immediately reported it to the company and suggested that they assess the situation. Instead of sending a technician to evaluate the damage, I was instructed to contact my insurance company first while High Efficiency requested only photos and videos of the damage. I was assured that any repair costs would be covered by High Efficiency. Following the insurance adjuster’s assessment, I forwarded the damage report to High Efficiency. My request is straightforward: 1. All necessary repairs to my property must be covered in full by High Efficiency. 2. I seek a full refund for the installation services* *********** **** **** ****** *** ****** *** ****** ****** ***** ** ** ********* ***** *** ** ***** ***** ****** *******. ************** **** ********** *** ****** ** ******* *** ******* *******. Instead of covering the full cost of the repairs, the company offered to pay only 33% of the damage and required us to use our own insurance. **** ***** ** ************ *** **** *** ***** **** ***** **********. Moreover, I have yet to receive any contact from their insurance provider, as promised. Additionally, the sales representative has become unresponsive, further hindering my ability to resolve this matter. **** ********** *** *** **** ****** ** ******* ****** ******* *** *** **** ****** *********** ****** *** *************. I insist that the damage to my property be fully repaired at their expense and that a full refund be issued. Thanks, *****

    On June 1, 2022, I contacted ******* of High Efficiency Cooling & Heating and informed him I have no cold air. He came out to **** ***** ** *, **** ***. ******* on June 8, 2022. He added refrigerant to my rooftop air conditioner. I was with him on the roof. I paid him $150 for the service call and $275 for the refrigerant for a total of $425.00. I paid in cash and he did not provide a receipt. On June 13th I contacted ******* to inform no cold air. He came by on June 22nd and it turned out he had turned the AC levers off and forgot to turn them on. After this incident, I was away and when I returned I turned on the AC and there was no cold air.. I tried everything I could think of and my son also came over to have a look as I know ******* is busy. As we couldn't rectify the issue, I called ******* on July 21st got run around. On July 28th, I received an email from a person who didn't identify themselves. They informed they are fully booked and cannot come out until end of summer. I replied that i first called them June 1st and paid $425 and do not have AC and I would like priority as I am not a new customer. This person replied that I ony paid $150 not $425. ****** **** * ******** ******* *** ******** *** **** *** *** ******** *** *******. After several calls to the company, ******* finally called. He said the refrigerant must have leaked out. He informed the warranty is up and I must pay $150 for service call. He then notified me he will not be returning as I had complained about him. I spoke with other companies who informed they would never put refrigerant in a unit as old as my AC. I emailed High Efficiency that I still expect a technician to return to see why I don't have cold air. I was ignored. On Jan 26th, 2023, I wrote the company requesting $137 refund, half of the money ******* ********. I did not get a response.
