    Stay away from buying their products. The customer service lies like rugs. I had a situation where I bought one of their multiport adapters from a seller on ****. It came defective and the **** seller ripped me off and didn't refund me. For the dispute I filed in my credit card company, I needed StarTech's help in that I needed a 3rd-party opinion so that I could resolve the dispute I filed against the **** seller. "******" was nice enough to write an email with the company's letterhead, but unfortunately, my credit card company didn't accept it as proof because they needed a "real letter" on a real piece of paper with an authorized letterhead on it WITH THEIR SIGNATURES as proof it is a real letter and not faked. Well, I never heard back from either "******" or "******". I tried to call them yesterday afternoon. I was the "next one on queue" on their automated system and that lasted several minutes. Then, I called earlier tonight after 7PM, since ****** "SAID" someone would call me at 7PM and they never did. Then, I had an idea, I got my other phone number that was on my iPod touch and called them and I got RIGHT THROUGH. This company is very dishonest. They BLOCK you from talking to them. They WON'T answer your emails. All this company is interested in is selling their product. But if something goes wrong, they run away. They are NOT there for you. This shows they don't stand by their product and they only want your money. That is it. They don't care if your unit is defective, or if you have a different issue such as my issue with a dispute I filed against an **** seller. They DON'T care about you, they DON'T want to talk to you in any shape or form. Get your electronics from Best Buy so that if something is ever wrong with it, you can return it and get your money back!!!! Seeing other reviews on StarTech products, they seem to be sub-par, and way over-priced.
