    Midas tried to claim My truck needed repairs when there was no problems!! I took my truck to ford for second opinion they confirmed my theory! And saved me 1200 bucks, Midas in Belleville i contacted them to inform them I would be reporting this to you guys. Someone needs to stop these con artist

    I am a born and raised Kingstonian. I initially had work done to replace the catalytic converter in October of 2019. In the spring of 2020 after working as a nurse in a very busy ER I made decision to move north. In January of 2020 I had check engine light on and I had 2 locations confirm it was the catalytic converter. I had tried reached out to Midas no luck. Contacted again and **** was looking into what could be done but I believe she left and no one followed up. I spoke with **** * in August of 2021. He said your part is under warranty let’s try and figure something out. He said he spoke with management or whoever and that they would actually mail me a new catalytic converter for the replacement. Of course I would be responsible for the labour. I still have several emails from ****. I never once actually received tracking or any proof of shipment but he claimed he sent it and it was damaged and sent back, he claimed then he re sent it with ** but nothing ever arrived. At this point it is mid October 2021. My vehicle is in the shop, I am about to have a baby. **** says that it was easiest to have **** do the work and they will pay does for the part. **** speaks with **** and makes arrangements. now **** has to order this part in, it takes till the end of December basically for this part to come in and have the work done. I had to go home which is 6 hours away with our car and our new born in November. I pick up my car end of December. Pay all the labour fees. **** has attempted to contact midas several times, I have spoken to **** and I have spoke to ****** * on several occasions who both said they were working on getting it dealt with. I spoke with **** even 2 weeks ago he said he swears they paid and he would check with accounting. I can confirm nothing has been paid. I have come here as I have called midas head customer service who said someone would call back, local store also said someone would. No one has responded.

    My mother called midas on gardiners road in Kingston today got a appointment for 12:30 to get a wheel alignment and brake bleed and fixed and when she came home and showed me what they did I was not happy as the back passenger side brake is still leaking and never fixed the issue and they also went around the vehicle looking at other problems but mean while she got charged extra when there was only the 2 things she called about to have done and never got the rear brakes fixed this isn't the first time that businesses took her advantaged of before she took it to ******** **** on princess street in Kingston and had work done to her car also at that time we bought 2 lower control arms for the front to replace and all they did is the one side and did a alignment but never touched the other side I am getting sick and tired and same with my mother about taking our vehicles in to get fixed but never gets fixed seems like we pay the money own all the time but the problem never gets fixed so that's why I am making a complaint thanks
