    - July 2023 we moved from *** **** **** *********** and hired AMJ Campbell to pack some items (ex tv, wardrobe, wall art) and store for three weeks with a move in at our new home at ** ******** ***** ***********  - Furniture disassembly and assembly was included in the quote. - Four movers were sent to move OUT a large 4 bedroom home. Furniture was taken apart but they forgot the tv boxes so wrapped all our tvs in blankets (see photo example). Furniture was packed in top of fragile boxes. The manager was smoking weed on his breaks and had difficulties understanding our conversations (for this reason I assume). - Storage was to be temperature controlled, we stored some valuable items. - Only three movers were sent on move in. It took them nearly 12hrs and they did not assemble all our furniture. When we mentioned this was a service we paid for they moaned and did the bed, a table and a couple items but it’s was so late and it was such a bad experience, we just wanted them to leave. - I witness one mover drop our tv twice and the claims department told me this was it true. I claimed the damage to the tv (which they packed) and was denied. - One mover broke a wall sconce. It was part of a set and discontinued. I was told I can “buy a new light and we’ll pay you pack”. All other items on my claim were denied. The claims department was rude and never even told me when my claim was closed. - Boxes were crushed, fragile marked boxes included. Wardrobe items were thrown into a box, not hung, and smelled so bad. - Candles and specialty items were melted, I can only imagine that hundreds of dollars of wine was spoiled (didn’t claim this but made the point). - I was told I can’t claim boxes I packed but I am not the one who crushed the boxes. - I am looking to be reimbursed for part of the services we didn’t receive, the items on my claim, and to replace all the wall sconces in my home so there isn’t one single light unmatched. - more to follow… sorry!

    Sorry for the delay in resolving your claim, ***** ****** is no longer with us. As to your moving charges, the estimate was 6048.27 and the actual was 6959.79. We sent 4 men for the move in and we charged you 9.5 hours not 12hrs based on 3 men. That being said, AMJ  will credit you the difference in the amount of 911.52. As to the packed items, we will replace your TV (600.00 plus tax=678.00) based on ******* pricing. We will replace one wall sconce only in the amount of 200.00 as we do not replace sets. As to the other packed items, unfortunately we will not honour since you packed the items yourself. We appreciate your patience. Let us know if we can credit your CC or send you a cheque in the amount of 1789.52.

    Hi, I completed a move with AMJ Campbell from Ottawa to Calgary in June 2022. One of the rewards as part of this move was $200 *** money. I have been asking for this reward since July 6th, 2022 and have constantly been met with excuses and ignorance. I have attached an e-mail thread showing the corespondance. I would like to file this official complaint as I have been more than patient and reasonable in my requests. This level of service is unnacceptable.

    I have been given this excuse over and over again. I would like a firm commitment date on this matter.

     

    As a company who advertises this reward it is completely unnacceptable to have this level of serive and communication.
