In September 2021 we stored our Pontoon boat at the Motertech marine for the winter. Paying $1,171.81. We called them May 9 to let them know we would be picking up the boat June 3. At that time they stated we owed another $578.10 (Summerize outboard). This is something we did not require or need but were told we had to pay because they already done the work. We called June 3 at 10:00am to confirm we would be there at 1:00 to pick it up and were told that this extra service was not done yet and they needed more time. We didn't have time to wait for it to be completed but they still made us pay for it and wouldn't back down. Stating this is their policy. We were never informed of this policy when we dropped the boat off in Sept. and we have done business with them several times before without issue. As we drove home from the marina one of the boat seats flew out onto the highway. It was not securely locked into place. Which is shocking as we have never had any issues before. Driving it from T****** to H********** They removed our cover before we arrived and must have unlocked it. I called them immediately and was rudely told it was my responsibility to check before we left their property. Again, had they done the work this wouldn't have happened. We have now paid $420.42 to have the seat repaired. I would like a refund for the services they did not complete and payment for the chair that was damaged. Thank you
