      ********* ** *** **** ************** ***** **** * ***** * ****** ** ***** ** *** They will sell you a package of "A to G" and will then exclude "B, C, D, E, F, G & A" in the exclusions list. Their customer service is ******** *** unsympathetic and will never respond to your emails. If you call them, with a claim, be ready to face ******** *** **** ******* *** *** mostly the same on every call. Not sure even if they have a full working office. * ***** ***** ******** ******** *** the way I was treated *** ********** by their staff made me write this.

      Trying to weasel out of repairing something with some lame excuse about something that’s not covered. Sending you to their “approved” garage Only to be told that they don’t cover the repair, then get coached by the repair facility, ********** ** *** ******** ******** **** **** *******

      Purchased car Dec 1 2023, April 4, 2024 was doing routine oil change, and incidental finding of a transmission leak. Contacted A Protection and per advice had vehicle towed, next day on April 5th, to transmission dealer that was authorized by A Protection, at a cost of $289 and change. Submitted the required oil change documents, claim DENIED as power train warranty reads The contract reads 2 ways, A) 12 months - 12,000 kms. ( My vehicle was less then the 12 months and 173 KM over on the mileage) also reads B) A grace period of 30 days or 1000 km will be allowed. So which is it, or is this a loop hole for the company always to deny claims. A Protection never returns calls, or emails in a timely fashion. They tried to ***** me to do a 5 star review for them and the would give me $450 towards my repair. **** ***** ** *** ****** ** *** *** ** ******* ***** * *** *** ** *** ******* ******* Today I received a call, to see if I would change my * **** review and again was offered the goodwill deal. **** **** ** * **** ******* **** ** *** ****** ******** ********

      The warranty policy is expired because you drove over the allowed mileage. There is no grace period because once you go over the kms, the warranty is expired. We tried to explain this to you and still help with repairs. We did not bribe you but simply tried to help you with at least some money toward your repair. Unfortunately, you decided not to accept our help and continue to slander our name on social media because we tried to assist you and help by giving you money towards the repair.

      Of the 9 months this vehicle has been owned, it has been parked at the mechanic's shop for 3 of them and during the 9 months it has had 2 oil changes. Transmission fell out of the car and hit the ground. (transmission was mounted loosely and with two stripped bolts). Although oil changes were done at 5000 km (the timing didn't fall within the "6 month" requirement and proof was not sent to A-Protect within 20 days) and because our trusted mechanic replaced the transmission (don't expect a timely response from A-Protect) instead of the two unknown locations A-Protect chose, the warranty was "cancelled effective immediately". The wording of the warranty is such that it provides the opportunity to deny claims We were accused of "misrepresentation and failure to provide adequate oil changes". Amusing statement from * *** * **** ***** company who's Claims Escalation Officer doesn't understand proof reading documents. This "warranty" was provided as part of the purchase.

      I submitted the GAP coverage claim in mid of March, not processed until today August 4th. No proper way to reach out the claim Dept. Not answering to the email provided to clients, timely manner. when the call the receptionist, everyday they are saying "you will get update soon, I am informing claim dept."

      At the time a gap claim is submitted, the Customer must provide the adequate documentation which is necessary to process the claim. The time it takes for Customers to submit the documents and resolve the claim may vary. When A-Protect receives the documents, claims are not immediately paid out as there are applicable deductions (as indicated on the GAP Coverage Agreement) that must be calculated with other details that must be verified with the insurance companies, police department(s), or other parties prior to the issuance of any GAP Coverage settlement. A-Protect tries to ensure all claims are processed in a timely manner. However, due to the additional verification required, processing time may vary and there is no set time frame in which claims are resolved.

      This claim entailed a lot of confirmation with the police reporting and the insurance company which take time. There were additional discrepancies that were found throughout this GAP claim verification which required additional contact with other parties. However, this customer was provided with the maximum payout under the GAP Coverage agreement.
