    They quoted me $1250 to cut down my tree and remove the stump. After cutting down the tree and damaging my lawn they refused to remove the stump and wanted me to pay $1000. I said I would pay them the difference of what the cost of the stump removal was, ($400). So I told them i would pay $850, he refused and told me he would take it to court *** **** ********** **. After that he admitted to me that he does not have a stump grinder and that the cost of the rental was too much so that is why he didn't do the job. Its clear he never had intention of removing the stump and was trying to get me to pay more than I should. He also never provided me with anything saying that the tree removal was $1000 and stump removal was $250. He only quoted me $1250 for the entire job.

    This man had 2 separate quotes, one for the tree ($1000) and one for the stump ($250). I told him I didn't have time to do his stump after the tree was removed. As far as damage to his property there was a few marks from the limbs hitting the lawn (as there always is unless customer is willing to pay for a crane). I did not threaten him, I can prove it all with text messages.

    This man still has not payed me a cent so I don't see how that's fair for him to submit a complaint here?

    **** ** **** * ***. He never provided separate quotes. He verbally quoted $1250. After he refused to remove the stump and told me it was now $1000. I subtracted what the cost of removing the stump from another company ($400) and offered to pay $850 which he refused. He doesn't even have a stump grinder so he quoted knowing he couldn't do it. I have tried to pay him multiple times but he has refused. Also he told me he would be on the edge of the driveway when he clearly drove on my lawn and ruined parts of it.
