I have recently terminated my employment with this employer as the have violated my ESA rights and have not been a good employer at all. They have not provided me with all of my pay stubs. They deducted an hour of pay for lunches that I was unable to take as there was no one to cover me and no where to take my lunch. They have also since failed to pay me as yesterday was my regular pay day and I only terminated my employment two days ago. They owe me for that pay period as well as the days that I have worked that would have been in this upcoming period (which I understand they have up to 7 days for those days). They made me sign an employment contract after I had already been working for a couple of weeks that was backdated to look like it was on the day of employment. I have a photo from the day I signed it to prove this. They had me working in excess of 8 hours a day and I never signed anything agreeing to these terms. There is so much dishonesty in this place. I tried to give them a chance as they seemed like good people, but I was very wrong and was completely taken advantage of. I voiced my concerns over a week ago and the manager never made time to talk in person or even a phone call. She said that she’d have a staff meeting (a week after I voiced my concerns) but by that point I was so disappointed that nothing had been handled. I just want to prevent this from happening to anyone else and get the money that is owed to me from lunches not taken, personal phone being used as a company phone without reimbursement and pay that has not been paid.
